People get confused when Lord Shiva says 'Yes, I am the God' in Ishvar geeta, as same is told much later by Lord Krishna during Mahabharat.

Not much later but much earlier, because the teachings of bhagwat geeta was told to sun god millions of years back from Mahabharata by lord Narayana/ krsna

Even during Mahabharat, Shree Krishna says the same thing because he says so in a state of yoga with Parabrahm Shiva. So actually it is Shiva who repeats it through Krishna. Therefore Ishvara Shiva says that he is God in both, the Ishvar Gita and the Bhagwad Gita. After the end of the war, later on when Arjun asks Shree Krishna to repeat the Gita again, Krishna scolds him and says that he had done it in state of yoga and it is not possible for him to do it again. So he gives a smaller discourse which is called the Anugita.

Bhagvat geeta me shri krishna ne khud ne kha hai ki ye Geeta ka param rahashyi mahi gyan mene (bhagvan Vishnu ne ) sansar ke starting sury dev ko diya tha. Sury dev se ye gyan fir maharaj ikshvaku maharaj Manu ko prapt hua tha aur suryvansh ke anek rajao even maharaj dashrath ji ko ye gyan mila hua tha. Vashisth ji ke gurukul me bhagvan ram ne bhi parampara ka palan krte hue us gyan ko sikha jabki unhe sb pta hai fir bhi. Fir jab vo last me jakr lupt ho gya to dvapar ke ending me shri krishna ne fir se Arjun ke madhyam se us gyan ko prakat kiya. Baki ye gyan to pho kahi lakho years se chala aa rha hai. Vashisth ji ka ek granth hai yog vashisth usme aap pdhna aapko Geeta ke similar kahi sare bate mil jayegi. Jo ki treta yug me likha hua granth hai I guess. Baki vasisth ji to satyug ki starting se sury vansh ke rajao ke Rajpurohit rhe hai.

Harekrishna 🙏.. Bhagwat Gita chapter 4.1.. It is clearly mentioned that lord Krishna spoke this transcendental knowledge to vivasvan who gave it to manu and in turn spoke to Ishvaku. No where in holy Bhagwat Gita it is mentionedthat lord Shiva first imparted it to lord Vishnu.

You should read "Bhagavad Gita by Paramhansa Yogananda". Because it is much better than "Bhagavad Gita as it is". I have a personal experience with it , I had read both and saw that "Bhagvad Gita as it is" only teaches about the bhakti through all chapters loosing its real essence but "Bhagvad gita by Paramhansa Yogananda" is more genuine and Authentic.

Mahadev is Supreme. In shivling one can see Brahma peeth visnu peeth and adya peeth. The mahesh peeth lies above all. And the total body is Shiva. Even during Mahabharat, Shree Krishna says the same thing because he says so in a state of yoga with Parabrahm Shiva. So actually it is Shiva who repeats it through Krishna. Therefore Ishvara Shiva says that he is God in both, the Ishvar Gita and the Bhagwad Gita. After the end of the war, later on when Arjun asks Shree Krishna to repeat the Gita again, Krishna scolds him and says that he had done it in state of yoga and it is not possible for him to do it again. So he gives a smaller discourse which is called the Anugita.

Bhagvat geeta me shri krishna ne khud ne kha hai ki ye Geeta ka param rahashyi mahi gyan mene (bhagvan Vishnu ne ) sansar ke starting sury dev ko diya tha. Sury dev se ye gyan fir maharaj ikshvaku maharaj Manu ko prapt hua tha aur suryvansh ke anek rajao even maharaj dashrath ji ko ye gyan mila hua tha. Vashisth ji ke gurukul me bhagvan ram ne bhi parampara ka palan krte hue us gyan ko sikha jabki unhe sb pta hai fir bhi. Fir jab vo last me jakr lupt ho gya to dvapar ke ending me shri krishna ne fir se Arjun ke madhyam se us gyan ko prakat kiya. Baki ye gyan to pho kahi lakho years se chala aa rha hai. Vashisth ji ka ek granth hai yog vashisth usme aap pdhna aapko Geeta ke similar kahi sare bate mil jayegi. Jo ki treta yug me likha hua granth hai I guess. Baki vasisth ji to satyug ki starting se sury vansh ke rajao ke Rajpurohit rhe hai.

Harekrishna 🙏.. Bhagwat Gita chapter 4.1.. It is clearly mentioned that lord Krishna spoke this transcendental knowledge to vivasvan who gave it to manu and in turn spoke to Ishvaku. No where in holy Bhagwat Gita it is mentionedthat lord Shiva first imparted it to lord Vishnu.

You should read "Bhagavad Gita by Paramhansa Yogananda". Because it is much better than "Bhagavad Gita as it is". I have a personal experience with it , I had read both and saw that "Bhagvad Gita as it is" only teaches about the bhakti through all chapters loosing its real essence but "Bhagvad gita by Paramhansa Yogananda" is more genuine and Authentic.

Brahma Purana is said to be the Forehead of Sri Hari, Padma Purana is said to be the 'heart' of Sri Hari, Vishnu Purana is said to be the 'right arm' of Sri Hari, Shiva Purana is said to be the 'left arm' of Sri Hari, Shrimad Bhagawat is said to be His 'thigh', Narada Purana is said to be His 'navel', Markandeya Purana is said to be His 'right-foot', Agni Purana is said to be His 'left foot', Bhavishya Purana is said to be His 'right-knee', Brahma Vaivrata Purana is said to be His ‘left-knee', Linga Purana is said to be His 'right ankle', Varaha Purana is said to be His 'left ankle', Skanda Purana is said to be the hair on the body of 'Sri Hari, Vamana Purana is said to be His Skin, Kurma Purana is said to be His Back, Matsya Purana is said to be His Stomach, Garuda Purana is said to be His Bone Marrow and Brahmanda Purana is said to be His Bone.” Therefore, all the Puranas being manifestations of different parts of Sri Hari's body are obviously very sacred.
