When you go in last phase in-game, Moebius (Orchestral Ver.) hits way, way harder, you can't get that exact feeling by just watching video, you have to be there to really feel it.

That's so true, I cleared TEA back when I was still playing final. After seven weeks of progress finally reaching this phase with this track... I can't describe the epicness and intense roller coaster of emotions in words.

Man, how do they expect you to concentrate on the fight with this amazing background music playing?

It’s good music but gets old after listening to it for a thousand times or so

There’s something about this. It’s just perfect. The nostalgia of Heavensward how we can always look back on that dlc and smile. A distant memory of the past that we will cherish forever. And this to me is the grand tribute. Alexander taking the stage one last time and his assembled theme is just perfection

I know this is just a BGM video, but this is the only DNC perspective I could find so thanks for that, good to know the kinds of times for dances late in the fight.

It's even better in the actual fight, all the sound cuts out and a few moments later you hear a church bell toll as the screen slowly fades to black.

Just watching this makes me want to get good enough to try. Even if you didn't clear on that run, the coordination in your group is so cool and clean looking!

Better than glamours in my eyes

The drop at the end of Inception (7:42) gave me chills every time i ran this fight. Still does.

Note: The version of _Rise_ used in this is actually the version played live by the Primals a while back.

@@RaxiazRedux This is precisely true. Furthermore, the very final battles of both ultimate fights - i.e. Awoken Ultima Weapon and Alexander Perfected - use a rendition of music from the Eorzean Symphony. I imagine they will try to maintain this consistency for as many ultimate battles as possible.

@@ultrascati95 yup - final burst before the fight is decided. And those panels NEED to have someone stood inside 'em - I'm not aware of the specifics, but given it's similar to meteor circles where it needs someone inside to nullify or mitigate its effect, letting it go "unclaimed" would likely be very bad for the party. Gotta arrange folks properly to get the most damage out before everyone's halted.

@@MrSmegheneghan Gotta say i was impressed at the sight of the enrage failure. People locked in cages and sorrounded in chains that locked time in place. Something i would have likely never witnessed personally since i'm going nowehere near raiding as of now.

That would be insane!

In last phase of exatrines, your game monitor shakes so hard almost insync with Moebius ost. The feeling you only know when you experience it. What an awesome music and battle.

@@zeehero7280 As a Dragoon its hard not to get lost in the dps sauce and die, I’ve gotten alot better at listening to more expirence players and doing mechanics.

As much as I love this fight, as well as the remixes, I will still never be happy that they removed the drum fills from Locus. They were always my favourite part of that song, and it feels so empty in their absence relative to the original.

It's not new. It's on the Eorzean Symphony album. The first one. they cut the timestop intermission from this and cleaned up some crowd noise but that's it.

I just finished my reclears just yesterday and I will miss this music and this fight. But damn good riddance to Judgement nisi!

They did die to mechanics, though. Three DPS died during perfect alex. It just didn't wipe the raid until enrage (which is good, since that means they get to practice more).

well it was more of a positioning error than anything, somehow the dancer was too far out for the raidwide shield that the scholar dropped and the whm frantically tried to top him off.

Moebius > Rise > Locus IMO. Locus is overrated. All three songs are god tier though if we are being honest.

From a design standpoint, I agree with the general sentiment that this is the weakest of the three ultimates so far. But aesthetically, this fight is INCREDIBLE. MAY BE EASIER BUT IT LOOKS EPIC AS FUCK AND THIS SOUNDTRACK IS SO FUCKING GOOD.

@@petrus9067 as of 5.5 it’s the hardest fight, but mostly because the dps checks on the storm blood ultimates are way easier because of our better gear. I don’t know where the weakest design claim comes from tho… this fight is probably my favorite or just behind uwu in mechanics design

@@logariffic4433 even with dps checks being easier you still need to do mechanics, there's is nothing in UCoB mechanically that is harder than Nisi or Wormhole. And UwU has 1 hard mechanic in the entire fight (Suppression)
