Im a foreigner living in the PH for 18 years now, i would 100% recommend BGC only... you can get rents 50-70% cheaper outside but it comes with so many sacrifices.

i invested in BGC Forbeswood 15 yrs. ago. I’t was a great investment though. Love to walk early morning. I feel safe.. love the selection of restaurants. weekends are great! "Mahal kita" is used by an individual when addressing another individual. But if the individual is addressing more than one person, you should say "Mahal ko kayo". If you are two or more in your own group, then you will say to the other group "Mahal namin kayo". May this help you in your study of the Tagalog language.

Yay! The OcampWoods is formed! Also, I like to share reg saying "I love you" in Tagalog (Filipino). We say "Mahal kita" for I love you if you're only saying that to one person. We say "Mahal ko kayo" if you're saying that to two or more people. But we say "Mahal namin kayo" for "We love you". Hope that helps for some Filipino lesson. 😊 All the best!

We did check out Alabang, it’s beautiful and definitely quieter. Right now in our lives with two 11 year olds, we prefer to be right in the middle of all the excitement. But I have a feeling one day I will want that quieter life (just not right now)☺️🙏

Most convenient way is to take a Grab but if you're in for an adventure, you can take the MRT from North Edsa station to Ayala station, then ride a BGC bus from there.

We did better than research the healthcare system in the Philippines, we actually experienced it. Not only was it way more affordable than California but we got great care from St. Luke’s and Makati Medical Center. My doctor here even has my WhatsApp number so we can communicate easier. It’s amazing😲

They can afford it but for those who earn on PH, it’s not affordable.

Too bad they already leaving.. I really hoped for an episode looking into the international school in BGC.. You know how important kids are in the parents desicsion.. ;) ;) I think many kids who do homeschooling, would choose a real school again, if they have the chance to. If they would like it, you would have already won the whole family over ;) thats why I wrote this lengthy comment a few days ago ;)

We’re not leaving. We’re moving here☺️Checking out the schools is definitely a must. My kids both prefer home school at the moment but I’d like them to see what schools are like here (without being a pushy mom). It’s been so long since they’ve been in a in-person school. So I feel like they have to adjust to the possible idea. While I can totally see Knox wanting to go to in-person school, I feel like Nia would need to warm up a bit. Knox is a social butterfly. He’s always made friends who are both boys and girls. Nia is a little more shy☺️

That would be sooooo cool if they did..BTW not sure if you 2 notice Knox is going thru the Peter Brady voice change...I am showing my age here...lol

Lol🤭🤣😂I love the Brady Bunch! Omg that episode was so funny! And yes Knox is totally going through it. Sometimes he calls my name “MOM!” with a deep voice and sometimes with a high voice🤭🤣Don’t tell him I said that😆🙈

Yes we have! We met them last year and hung out with them a few times. The kids had fun with each other too☺️🥰🙌 Can’t wait to get settled so we can start to meet all the vlogger families here!👏🇵🇭🫶🎉

dont rent condo but buy condo rent to own, while renting but you own it until fully paid in 5yrs P70k to K80k monthly look in mckinley road in vennice mall big space condo or ask in mega world in high street condo

Unfortunately none of the condos we like here in BGC are lease to own. I wish though. I haven’t looked into spaces near McKinley Road. But thanks so much for the suggestion👍
