BFGs have always been amazing in snow, ice and rain - I have driven every version of then between Illinois and Florida in all conditions with 100% confidence they would get me to my destination. I have even found myself driving through a down poor that caused an incredible accident and multiple vehicle pile up and my only option was to run over what was left of a a pallet jack and my BFGs got me to my destination safely 👍❤👍

Northern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec and man in blizzards and deep snow these did perfect haven't got stuck since I own these from November 2018, they still have 60% tread. I have been riding BFG since the KO, also had used BFG Radial All Terrain T/A from Jurassic park 1993 in the movie. They all performed well and just get better and better

I have trusted the KO2 in very very rugged Northwestern Canada since 2016. I tried a different population brand once, was slipping and sliding more, so went back to a Ko2 and never swapped brands again. I love the Ko2 lol

I purchased a spare Rock Warrior wheel and tire from a dealership that was selling used display items. ($150!!) It still has the original K0 tire from 2012 on it. It’s pretty cool to see how much this model has evolved over the past decade or so. Great comparison “shirt”!

KO2 was amazing in snow and great off-road. The only complaint was wet conditions. However, I’m running falken wildpeak at3ws now and they are awesome in snow and wet conditions. Haven’t had them off-road yet, but so far better than KO2

I had great experiences with two sets of the KO2’s on two different Raptors. Keep them aired up to 40-42psi and they will wear beautifully. I had zero cupping.

It honestly looks like they actually got further away from aggressive style. Almost like a little more all season tire. It definitely needed more siping. But yeah looks closer to a street tire now. Like the trail terrain tire

The 3s might have better grip in some areas, but as far as spinning thrust, the 2s with bigger voids move more material, which gives you thrust.

Had a set of KO’s. Heavy, didn’t balance well, traction was meh. I moved on to better options. Would take some convincing to get me to risk $1500+ on a newer version of these when other great options are out there.

Is the tread on the KO2 deeper or is that just an optical illusion due to bigger gaps?

I find the tread depth disappointing from BFG. I still have the original KO. And they came with 18/32. I was really hoping the KO3 would have deeper tread than the K02. It’s one of the main reasons I’m thinking of going with the new falken wildpeak AT4. 19/32 of tread depth.

@@CJ-rk5eg - The WildPeak AT3s were the best AT tire on the market…and it wasn’t even close! I doubt that the KO3s could even match that older tire much less the newer WildPeak AT4s! But, to answer your question: The Falcons typically are better on road (snow, rain, noise levels, etc..) while the BFGs have a very slight edge offroad! The BFG’s weakness is wet weather driving! Mine felt downright dangerous! They get worse after you amass over 20k miles! Read the reviews on this new tire before buying!
