Interesting to see a couple of things in this that aren't actually in the movie, the best being the line "just something for a weekend in the woods" which is cut from the film.

I love the original trailer, because the car scene was cut "just a weekend in the woods!" when I was watching the movie, you never hear the car door slam, now we know why!

Thank you for this amazing post! I've never seen the trailer, and for some reason, this film has never been released on DVD. I saw it for the first time in the mid '80's on TCM. I knew Rosa said something when getting out of Latimer's limo. Wow! What a great line. I also wondered where TCM got the footage of Rosa holding up the martini glass in the Lakeshore Hotel (not in the final cut) for a montage they used a long time ago for classic film introductions. The hypocrisy of censorship couldn't be more obvious. Latimer says he fought for what he'd attained and "it wasn't always clean fighting." Well, Rosa was fighting to get what she wanted, but this character has to die.

🤔 BD was too old to play Rosa Moline. She said it herself. Why would she wait so long to leave out of that small town.

The fact that BD was too old to play Rosa Moline made the movie even more entertaining to watch.
