Great advice. A lot of players neglect the gym work, for no reason other than a lack of knowledge. But when you combine the technical and physical training, that's when you really become a great soccer player.

great video! does this apply to over the summer training? i am a college soccer player so i have from may-august to really improve myself, and although i may be playing a few games and a few games here and there, it isn't the same demand when youre in season? so would you be sprinting and jumping out of season alonge with the plyometrics and base work?

the 1.8 for lunge, do you mean absolute values like a guy of 80Kg should reverse lunge 120Kg or do you mean 1.8 as in 1= body weight + 0.8 = 64Kg??
