Beyond CSR: Corporate Political Responsibility (CPR)

Pursuing sustainability is no longer optional. Of the Fortune 500 companies, 80% now issue sustainability reports, and interest in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been growing for the past two decades.
But it has become clear that CSR is not enough. Governmental policies still have the largest overall impact on social and environmental outcomes. To address this reality, corporate political actions (like lobbying and campaign funding) should be made fully transparent in order to ensure long term success.
