Great observation about the energy difference. She reeally put me in the mind of a Tina Turner..... was in pure Rock Star form, which is what she is at heart. A Rock Star. That blues/southern aspect/rock.... taking it back to her roots but African Americans roots, in general. Was fascinating to watch, which I happened to see as it aired. On another note.... Jill Scott, one of this generations all time Best vocalists is my recommendation to you. Her performances are also mesmerizing and powerful w/a voice for the ages..... unless you're only showcasing artists whom you feel will attract the most viewers.
