I agree with the comments that people from the Philippines can sing! I had a friend I used to work with 15 plus years ago, named Nanita. And this girl’s voice was incredible!

Nobody expected this performance not even judges nor the audience but she proved she's a powerhouse.Congrats Mary Ann.

I was even more impressed with her when she didn't forget the request of the elderlies she cared for at her work at the Elderly Caregiving center to ask for a kish from Ronan from them. In the midst of her success and being on cloud 9, she even thought of those she cared for. She's funny, has a great voice and a big heart. Nice filipina there. I'm glad I have one.

Unfortunately this happens everywhere... people judge based on accent.... if the accent is a little different, people are treated like dummies. What an accent means though, is that they can speak another language fluently - so they're a very smart and courageous individual cos they know they can communicate perfectly in another language, but still put effort into speaking a second language.

I have a Filipino aunt that can barely speak English, but when she sings... 😍😍😍

Such an awesome audition...definitely skilled..she blew them away

when she said she’s gonna sing Halo the judges underestimate her, but when she opened her mouth BOOM!

As an American, I hate it when we act like how these judges did to people from another country. The lady is beautiful, talented, and smart.

The audience underestimated her, and she proved them wrong. What a queen. 👸🏽

She has an amazing personality. The fact that she works and helps elderly overseas abroad, that's very humbling. She's honest and I like how she handles and responds with the judges, very funny and smart. And her voice is beautiful.

I’m judging this book by the cover. Any time you hear about a vocalist from The Philippines expect powerful and dynamic vocals. The smaller they are, the more powerful they are. That’s the truth they’re the best!
