You are a damn good teacher. I am 83 years old . I saw that dance on tik tok and decided I wanted to learn it. Looking for a tutorial I came across yours. Instructions you gave were brilliant. The breakdown into parts was extremely helpful to be able to repeat the same part until I got it down. I plan to surprise my kids, just need to find a cowboy hat!!!

I’m 75 & going to do this from this video. I just wish Beyoncé had left the curse words out of it so I could use this to teach the dance to my little grand kids. We don’t allow music with bad language.

@@victoriadegand2393 I have a theory about that. The original “b” word was not a cuss word. The word was stolen and bastardized. The way I hear it in this song, it has been repurposed, reclaimed, if you will, to mean something akin to curmudgeon, but saltier. “Don’t be a curmudgeon; get on out here and dance with me.” Same idea but curmudgeon just doesn’t fit modern vernacular. If you think about it, if we could join in taking the “bad” back out of the “b” word, more power to us.

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to create this tutorial for everyone. I hate to point this out but the creators of the TX Hold'em Dance, and most everyone else doing +/or teaching the dance, start with the RIGHT foot. I know you say your video is mirrored, but your instructions and footwork start with the left foot so they're backward. Just saying☺️ Also, having the instructor/s face the mirror so we can learn while facing the same direction is much easier. Being face to face has always been more confusing for most people. With a full length mirror wall (like in a dance studio), we can also see the front of the instructor if we want.

Film it from behind would be way better; I took ballet tap and jazz as a kid and would love to learn this. You could post a front view in the top corner. Also, film in front of a mirror. Would be mint
