For some reason this is the one song on the album that makes me tear up. The instrumental is so "sad" in a bittersweet way. It feels like a dream sequence that you're fighting to not wake up from. Very very interesting

I can that
I'm a cop and the number of suicides I have gone to is very sad. I once pulled a woman out of a garage after she tried to kill herself by running the vehicle in it. She had a letter she had written and I chose to read it. It brought me to tears how someone can lose hope to that point. I sat with her and talked about it with her. I saw her a year later she was getting married and thanked me for just listening.....

Beyoncé…. Beyoncé… Beyoncé.. thank you for this!!! I don’t remember the last time a song gave me an out of body experience like this ! This makes me have sooo much feelings about a relationship in my life that meant the world to me that unfortunately ended on bad terms but this is teaching me to meet people where they are and reminding me of my flaws too. I have waited my whole life for a feeling like that and I had it and nothing has made me feel more free in my entire life . I’ve struggled finding the words , the meaning and why it has to end the way it did … but as you say”only God knows why though” . This song is my diary . @@roberth5708 this is the main point that ppl should takeaway from what she’s doing with these projects (the trilogy). sometimes I find myself listening to some of the songs, and I hear the R&B influence, but the truth is, is that blues is the foundation of American music, so you will find the blues in everything. And the big difference between European music and African music, African music is gonna have rhythm to it for the most part. We as black ppl are going to put rhythm in our music, we’re adding the full fundamentals to what makes music what it is. I think it’s yt supremacist delusion that stops people from really making the accurate assessment that Black people are the genesis of music. It all comes from us, and we’re entitled to enrich ourselves in any genre and make it just for our choosing. freedom is our birthright

This song is "All night" upgraded. So beautiful... Her love for Jay Z is so big and unconditional that forgiving and changing him were her only choice. I have respect for this Beyoncé because I don't know what I would have done, most probably I'd have left. I wouldn't accept cheating in whatever form. It's a punch to my already-low self-esteem. She accepted his repentance and made him ponder his life choices til he came back to her washed again, anew. This is so beautiful, so strong, powerful in the deepest shape of love, mature, rooted in promises and vows, into believing that everything together works if longed for. A woman of value. Hope Jay Z doesn't take her for granted ever again. Such women are rare. It's not about the diamonds, it's about what she feels when she is with him. She could have the world at her feet, she doesn't want that. She wants the imperfect that she knows can be perfect in her eyes and her life only. Her family, her kingdom, her dreams, her reality.

This song makes me tear up for so many reasons. Since moving to Houston from NYC I lost my mother and brother, I’ve traveled the state of Tx and fell in love with MARFA and always talk about how it makes me feel free and at peace. Jogging gives me the same free feeling so the “Stallion running, No candle in the wind” hits home along with the part with you saying “Since you went to MARFA ain’t no trouble on your mind.” This song is lowkey me in human form. That breakdown starting at 3:17 til the end was magical! That whole part should have been a song within itself bc that breakdown is sexy asf
It's just so so good. Beyonce' s voice is flawless - the range and notes, so so good❤❤❤
This "Ya Ya" and "Sweet Honey Bucking" are my fav so far
That ending gives me Jodeci vibes! love it...

No one is better than anyone. We all beat the same odds to be here and that’s the only metric. Enjoying the ride is all that matters after that. We are all winners
The production is INSANE on this track. And the transitions are Lit
This is probably the best song on the album…

This song moves me so deeply, and I don't usually cry to songs often. It feels like a taste of a higher dimension where love and freedom are rules, not the exception. I never want it to end. It is truly beautiful.
