I think that spontaneity comes from the energy exchange from being in one room with the all the musicians as opposed to a single recording booth...

If she paused after the verse, then went into the hook, the live performances would be even more epic!! Kind of how Whitney had that pause right before the hook in “I will always love you”. And if she added an extended version to the album with a guitar solo, it would be massive. I don’t think she knows how much we love her playing that guitar.

Please protect her from the industry demons Keep her as she is. Let her to leave the stage on her own merits. Don’t let the world ruin Halle Bailey, she’s a true Siren sister. 💙
