Beyoncé is no stranger to critics every time she changes direction. She’ll be fine.

To me, she was never all that great. Anytime someone curtails the careers of others, it speaks of the type of person they are. No matter how talented you're perceived to be, your heart is what God looks at.

Girl, Beyoncé is well in her 40’s. She already did the pop girl thing, she danced, she’s toured, she’s had number one 1 singles, albums, she’s STILL churning out #1 singles and albums. She’s been here for decades, she’s good. She could quit music forever right now and leave a legacy that lasts forever.

“lemonade” was never an autobiographical album. it was an album out the ups and downs of marriage and learning to forgive and working through trials and tribulations. also to be able to rebuild or even starting “over” what you once had in the relationship, that especially matters when there is children involved. it says “til death due us part” for a reason.

Prior to Lemonade, there were a lot of rumors concerning their marriage, family, and JAY Z cheating. And the elevator incident was the icing on the cake because it shows something was up. They didn't say anything about it until Lemonade was out and then Jay Z capitalized on it with 4:44, and revealing a lot of things like Why Bey had her miscarriage. Now because of all of that people question her bad bitch boss image because she stays in a relationship, which we know was unhealthy for her and her health too at some point.

This tour won't make even 500m because the demand is not high, she barely added extra dates in Europe, she is not adding extra dates in US bc the shows are not sold out, and she is not going to Asia (a market where she is weak) and Latin America. Renaissance didn't made any noise, one year after and the album barely have 2 billion streams, 2B streams is what Harry Styles album has with only two songs combined.

On the decline with an album thats already sold 3.4m copies in 10 months and is on tour that's expected to gross between $375m to $425m at the lowest projection. Had a #1 hit and another top 10 hit with little to no promotion. Okay. She's sold more tickets than her last tour. Again the social media hate doesn't translate to what the masses are consuming and saying. People watching the tour in 240p in their phones are upset over the tour. The people in attendance are tweeting and posting Instagram and TikTok are praising the tour. Lol, Tiffany and Co said the Beyonce campaign was the most successful campaign they ever had. This social media hate isn't translating to the "cancelation" you think it is. She's only gotten bigger. Mind you Beyonce has always gotten hate. Her peak hate train was definitely in 2016 when all the controversy over her Superbowl performance happened. Her career is fine and she's going to be her 10 years from now. Haters said the same thing when her 4th album underperformed.

No more surprise drops, this roll out had announcements leading up the LP/ lead single. Made a tik tok to reach more ppl/new audience. Release a slew of remixes to get Break my soul to #1. Consumer album reviews were polarizing etc, basically everything that happened in this era would be out of place in her past eras.

I’ve said multiple times that this whole video is my opinion. The success we see bey having right now, is a mix between her star power and right time and right place. If she did another tour the next yr, I’d doubt it’d be this successful again. And again this is my opinion. In the video I was trying to connect the slew of bad press she was having at the date of this video (which was unprecedented at this point in her career). Originating during the controversies she had during shut down. And trying to explain she didn’t have blind adoration like she had in the past few yrs during her career peaks. All while trying to say that her successes didn’t come as easily as before. Which to me signals a decline. And declines aren’t linear, some are gradual. I doubt we’d all wake up one morning and say beyonce is old news. Thanks for your comment, I explained my opinion in my latest video

well she doesn't get consistent hate. which is why this 2023 hate seems different from all her other criticisms, it's one thing after another. What's more is that industry people from her ex-body guard, ex-back up dancer, and industry peers have gone out of their way to insult the singer. So it's not just social media junk, I couldn't imagine something like this happening during her self titled or lemonade eras.

During the lemonade era "boycott beyonce" was a widely spread initiative across America, with police and government officials attacking her for the 2016 superbowl performance she gave. The thing about those eras is that she was still on a critical and commercial high. So I wouldn’t call that a decline. Now her album isn’t as commercially successful like self titled or lemonade. And there’s more constant negative news compared to other eras. And the bad press have been so negative she’s had to put out statements to the public on multiple occasions. And it doesn’t seem like she has the same grip on the US gen pop like she used to.

They said she was declining after Lemonade when she released The gift and her music with her husband in 2018/2019 and she once again proved them wrong with Renaissance. Beyonce proves the naysayers wrong time and time again bc she is more concerned with leaving a legacy rather than being the #1 trending topic on social media. It’s like y’all ‘onlookers’ want to dive into these ‘deep analysis’ videos but fail to do the required research on the artist you’re reviewing. This video is clearly biased and I can already tell your channels foundation is supported by opinion v. Fact. Beyoncé is not going to gross $2 billion off her Renaissance Tour, especially considering the fact she’s only doing around 52-56 shows (literally half of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour). The gross will be around $500-550 million at the end, which still puts her tour in the top 5 highest grossing music tours of all time. Beyoncé could gross $2 billion if Renaissance is a 3 part music project with 2 more tours scheduled in the future!

Speaking from my own memory the period 2009 to 2013, Beyonce wasn’t really talked about. I felt she was a little robotic so I never got into her music like that. From what I remember it was Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry were the top girlies. I remember the talk about her low sales from the album 4 but then she had a rebrand from 2014. Now her new album Renaissance didn’t chart as well besides Break My Soul and TikTok helped Cuff it. I think she’s doing okay but definitely not considered the top female artist anymore which is fine.

I never got the chance to attend Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour but she definitely gave it her all with lots of energy and I felt that just by watching on my tv and phone. She’s human she’s going to sometimes be exhausted but she definitely put on a spectacular show. 🎉

The Taylor Shift ERA debacle had a lot of people turned off to buy tickets. My tickets were 400 each and both nights in Chicago were full. People are deciding last minute to go after realizing Beyonce is more affordable than we originally thought.

Texas hold em, number one. Massive tour and massive movie and now the heavily anticipated act 2 country album finna drop and rock the country world. Safe to say this video aged poorly.

I’m not even saying this bc I’m a fan but objectively her tour along side Taylor swifts were the most talked events/tours about this year to the point that it was an event. And especially when she asked everyone to wear silver. She has one of the highest grossing female tours with this last one, I don’t remember the numbers but I think that beats her last one. She had a tiktok trend with cuff it so it shows that the newer generations also fuck with her. She did have her bumps with Ivy park but so does every celeb, and she’s getting hype for her hair care line. Yea maybe a few years ago no one was saying things about her, but she’s gotten hate trains before that. People thought she was at her decline during the album 4 and thought she faked her pregnancy for clout bc her album was a “flop” which yes and no it had the lowest sales but her lowest sales is like a career high for other artists. And yes she’s had hate trains before, I wasn’t even allowed to listen to her bc the illumanati hate train during iasf. What I’m trying to say is any long lasting celebrity even like Michael Jackson that it seems like their time is finished and they get a lot of bad press but then a few years down the road they get a whole new redemption arc and career peak. That’s what this era is for her. Her tour was an event of the year especially her birthday show with all the celebrities n such. Will she always be at her peak? No, no one stays at the top 100% of the time, but I think she’s solidified her status as a legend with the likes of Michael, Whitney, Madonna etc. She’s pretty much immortalized at this point in her career, this tour was a victory lap. I’m now interested bc her movie is coming out what numbers she’ll be able to pull. But any downtime or flop era is to be expected with celebrities even like her peer Taylor swift who’s also seeing a new career high with her eras tour and re-recorded albums and her newer two albums, people were calling her a flop during lover, and look at her now. We would need to see a very sharp decline to say this 100%. I think in terms of her album, I don’t think people missed it but Beyoncé albums since lemonade haven’t really hit with the general public. That happens for every artist. Artists do not stay on general public’s mind forever, what keeps them famous is having a very large and strong fanbase. Her tour didn’t start as very high in terms of her performance she was still amazing but yes, her alleged injury held her back in Europe, but I think once she got to the u.s it got better and better and when I saw her in Dallas it was really good and obviously she put on a spectacle in L.A. What I think we see is people not really feeling celebs due to the current economic state of the world plus COVID. I think what she’s experiencing is what majority of celebs are experiencing, this is a Hollywood problem not a her problem. This is very long but I think what I can sum up is it’s too early to tell if this is a genuine decline/slow down of her career or if it’s a minor bump in the road. I honestly smell a hiatus on the horizon. I think she’s gonna slow down a bit.

I must live in a small bubble because I thought Renaissance was huge but now that you mentioned the LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 aspect I thought about the celebrities I follow on IG such as Lavern Cox, Victoria Monet and Kehlan. They’re LGTB and black. They are big fans, have attended her concerts and shared via IG. That explains why I was kept up to par about her for the last 3 years and I also have a co-worker who adores her and saw her tour. She’s had a great run. Her brand is almost 30 if not 40 years old. She’s made her impact.

Well the success of her tour wasn’t just because of her. It was more right time and right place. Look at taylor she massively benefited from that but I don’t think either of them could replicate that kind if success again. Her relationship with the gen pop has waned severely (she still has stans) and her accomplishments take more effort to obtain.

I really do not think this argument is correct and one reason why is that we've kind of glossed over the fact that Beyonce managed to get a number-one single without an actual music video. That is kind of unheard of! We've thought it was strange for Beyonce to not release visuals because she usually loves visuals, but tbh it is just strange for an artist in general, nowadays, to put out a lead single without a music video. Yet she did it and managed to get it to number one. Edit: And this year she did it again with Cowboy Carter & Texas Hold'em. That does not seem like someone on the decline to me...

This is natural for artists, although in the past it was a lot easier to gracefully bow out for a variety of reasons. For the age of her career, she's still in a respectable place but I agree. The cracks are showing, and if the behind the scenes are really as nasty as people have been trying to tell us, people might be in a place to want to enjoy the teardown now, since it's the only genuine thrill they have left.

Well as of today Renaissance is no. 3 at the box office. By the ways those stats sounds like a throw away record. No one is boasting about achievements within 8 months. Also I’m sure Taylor’s done some of that so, not so sure about her being the first
