    I think it was 2003 when I first played with those. The last I remember was around the same year, I had a pretend battle with other kids. The beyblades we were using tapped only ONCE and exploded into pieces. How it didn't launch into my face or anyone else is STILL beyond me to this day. Why this video came to me is beyond me. A nostalgic trip none the less.

    Back when I was a kid into beyblades, we modified our tops to spark upon impact. Also added blades, very heavy metal bodies. Sometimes we added firecrackers while also added a layer of water on arenas to make the games cooler looking. We used gloves to catch them safely.

  • @kuma2448
    @kuma24483 жыл бұрын

    This reminds me of when I was younger, barely out from primary school that a group of friends made their own homemade tops. The middle school has a workshop (It was a technical school) so everyone knew how to use tools and had access to some. Using soda plastic bottles, nails, and other stuff they made some really deadly-looking stuff, using an old concave metal structure that once had a statue as a makeshift ring. The school stopped the whole craze when a kid was found with a home-made top that could only be described as "A tornado of shaving machine razor blades"

    yeah, i had five of them total, my friend used to have many of them, but i was fine with my five ones, i had two, that were focused mainly on attack and three, that were focused on defence, i have lost one to the canal realm, one got thrown out i think (thanks mom) and the other three got lost, one of my defense beys demolished my friend's brother's one, cause it was serrated way too hard, but yeah, they were really fun. Honestly, i might go ask him, if he still has them, and if he still wants them, if he does not, i will ask him, if i could buy them off of him

    This one video was packed with nostalgia for me🥺 I was a huge fan of Bayblade anime back when I was small enough to believe it's real. There is this Bayblade fight between the blue protagonist spinner (Pegasus) and the green lion themed spinner that I still remember to this day. But the circumstances was so different. I never got a Bayblade toy coz, well, it wasn't available anywhere nearby. And online Shopping wasn't even a thing.
