I once saw Sills live at City Opera and was thrilled! It was Lucia and she “fainted” so delicately down the steps on her blood 🩸 stained gown. She must have been an acrobat too (besides graceful) because she didn’t hurt herself. Marvelous performance! My husband was thrilled too since he had never seen live opera before. I’m a native New Yorker and often enjoyed live performances!

I love Beverly Sills. I wouldn't give a darn if she couldn't sing a note. She just gives me the warmest uplifting feeling.

It's great to see the part in Martha's Vineyard. Watching it made me wish I could go there back in 1975. That house was so nice. It wasn't like those homes in the Hamptons that are tens of millions of dollars.
