Check the source not all cashews come from the rainforest. Cashews are plentiful in parts of West Africa and contribute to the economy without devastating the land.

@@MissPriss919 Therein lies the problem, because here in the U.S. at best we see the packager's or distributor's city & state, almost never a country of origin. I'm primarily familiar with South America's Amazonian deforestation from NGO work, where we see the five C's of clear-cutting: cows, corn, caju (cashews), cassava, and coffee. At the rate of 15,000 to 30,000 square kilometers per year, the rainforest is going up in smoke. Kills wild animals, destroys their habitats, wiping out hundreds of species per year. 😔😥 As a vegan, I'm committed to reducing harm to both farm and wild animals, and also reducing my impact on the planet.

@annacav7653 what? What are you typing about? They asked if cheese was from animal milk and how is that vegan! It clearly says on the screen plant-based parm cheese. So, I responded to their question, by asking them if the read what was posted on the screen. Therefore they wouldn't have to ask questions that information that can easily be gleaned from paying attention. What does flavor she was going for have to do with anything? She's going for the flavor(s) she put in the dish! Technical, because I can read and I actually pay attention. If more people did this the world would be a better place.
