Thanks for the insightful video. I have ordered before and am even more convinced the more I saw this. My old tectectec was top, but has broken down after 7 years (electronics defective). There was also still a discount, since the decision was then no longer so difficult.

Thanks Dave, Really appreciate it. Keep an eye out for vouchers on Amazon to save even more money if you pick it up. My current preference is GPS over rangefinder, but I do keep a rangefinder on the bag as a back up, or to use once or twice a round.

Based on your review I managed to pick up the PF260 off Facebook marketplace for unbelievably £65 inc postage. My first range finder to test the water ! Looking forward to getting that score down to improve my handicap………. One happy golfer 😁

Currently testing the Shotscope V3, will hopefully have a review out in the next 4 weeks.

The current deal on Amazon in the US seems like an incredible deal. If I hadn’t just upgraded to a new Garmin GPs watch I’d probably pull the trigger. Right now I just think that having both would be redundant, given that I don’t play in competitions where I’d have to worry about the legality of either device.

I know people that do use both, but my personal preference at the moment is a gps. Currently testing the ShotScope V3 and Garmin S42. But you’re right, it’s a cracking deal at the moment if you fancy taking a punt but can’t justify the $400 for the Bushnell

Looks good for the price. 👍🏻 Nice review, that battery catch could really annoy you! These cheaper rangefinders must really be taking sales away from Bushnell. Difficult to justify the dearer price.

Thanks for watching! I'm not sure how many people trust them...My gut shows their not all to be trusted, so I'll try to review as many as I can. The top end Bushnells will give superior performance the further out you are, but I know a lot of people would rather save £250 and sacrifice a few yards in accuracy!

Good video... The one thing that I would be very interested in is how the slope feature calculations compare to that of a Bushnell. Trying at different distances and different slopes (you could use a branch up a tree if your course is rather flat) to see if there's a benefit to Bushnell's algorithm (which I suspect is more complex and efficient than the one of the cheaper models).

Yeah I could be a little more thorough, but I have to balance with filming on a golf course as I don’t want to hold anyone up 😂 I would say the 400y hole at the start plays significantly longer due to the slope, around 30 yards, so that test gives a good indication to the difference between the two algorithms. On the 180y test I do at the end, I’d say there’s about a 5-10y slope downhill, and there was only 1y between the Mileseey and the Bushnell, so I feel pretty confident at the distances under around 200 yards.

Thanks for watching. In terms of getting the yardages and using flag lock, I’d say they’re the same. The Mileseey feels more expensive (although not by much) is slimmer, has a slope which and has a magnet if you use a golf cart. It’s also rechargeable but I don’t see that as a massive benefit as most use regular CR2 batteries and last ages…having it rechargeable is just begging for me to forget to charge it. So I think it really comes down to value for money. I think the Aofar is slightly better…but the Mileseey does come with a few extras. I hope that helps - make sure to use the links in the description as there’s some deals for Prime Day today and tomorrow

I thought Mileseey is pronounced as Mile see (that can see miles away) lol, anyway, many thanks for this enlightening review. I actually owned one and haven't got the chance to use it as our golf courses are still closed due to the lockdown.

Thanks Dan! To be honest, the Aofar is about as cheap as you can get while still doing the job well enough…just as good as the Mileseey. The Mileseey will feel a little more compact, is rechargeable and does have the magnet, if any of that matters to you then it’s probably worth the xtra money…if that doesn’t matter to you then probably not 👍

You sure it’s a PF260 model? I am in Indonesia and my wife just bought one for me today. The older model was Rp1,000,000 but the new PF260 was Rp1,500,000. Still excellent value

Close call. I never had any issues with the Aofar so I’d say it’s not worth the extra 40 if your happy the Aofar is bigger and more plasticky

Bought one and after three weeks, playing three times a week, the battery “flat” is flashing.... duff battery?

Could be, although I didn’t use mine for 9 rounds. But after 5 or so rounds it was still on full.

I think you Can choose between kph and mph on the speed measuring function

Being rechargeable is a no brainer for me and at £125 it's a great deal, I mean if its only a few yards out compared to a £300 rangefinder.......what is the point in spending that on something you are only going to use for getting close to the flag 200- 30 yards away which is probably 30-40 shots per game.

I think a lot of people feel the same…I’m seeing more and more budget rangefinders on the course. I did a side by side of a £100 Amazon one vs a £350 bushnell

I have been laffing about your mishap., falling into the hole -I am glad you're ok .but make that part of your intro. I wanted to see the hole?
