Judge is the better hitter no doubt. Ohtani though, is the better overall baseball player.

Thing is, Ohtani is rehabbing from a surgery that puts pitchers out of commission for a full year. So he's technically leading the NL in all these stats as an INJURED player. It's insane. I know swinging the bat and throwing the ball doesn't put the same stress on the elbow joint but still, it's crazy how he can still do what he does day in and day out WHILE rehabbing a major injury.

Ohtani for sure. Period

Othani is way better and he’s recovery from surgery

Even though Judge is a better hitter Ohtani is more impresive bc he is a pitcher in recovery

Judge is lucky to play in the tiny stadium. Shohei would have over 35 homeruns by now if his home stadium was Yankee stadium. And let's not forget they often use juiced balls in Yankee stadium.

I don’t really know baseball… just started watching cuz of ohtani…but it seems like most home runs = mvp ? Is that it ?

Both Great - Aaron Judge slightly better hitter as far #'s but Shohei can hit / run / steal. not pitching so far but slightly better in overall. I'm a Met fan so let's be fair.

I'm a Ohtani fan, but if Judge stays leading the homer, he's gonna win the MVP IMHO, as Ohtani is DH and Judge is a fielder.

@@BoneHand000 judge is first in almost every offensive statistic while having a horrible April, and is a gold glove level outfielder and quite possibly break his own home run record, while ohtani is not first in almost every offensive statistic and also doesn’t play the field he just DHs this year, and will never break judges home run record. Yea not even close.

Judge, and its not really close. Hes played the field and should be a gold glover. Hes the best hitter, period.

it is very close. judge has a 1.1 ops and ohtani 1.0. keep in mind ohtani is at 50% right now since he's not pitching. a 50% ohtani is almost the same as a 100% judge.
