Rewatching again in 2024! please bring this back

This show has criminally low views. I just rewatched this recently, and I have to say the writing is so good! Parallels with the office are actually unwarranted, because the characters are all really unique and each of them have a strong part to play in the overall narrative, rather than just being comic relief. It's really a shame it doesn't have the popularity it deserves.

Super excited about this show now! Shows like this are a sign that Indian content creators are going in the right direction. Best of luck you guys!

Anirban's character is hilarious & by far my fav! He's a cross between Creed and Kevin from The Office. Jerry is basically Andy from Parks & Rec, Neil Menon is a lot like Leslie Knope - passionate about the job & wants to keep it's team together, Sumukhi is essentially Donna from Parks & Rec, Kanan is like Ryan from The Office - new and stuck in a place he doesn't want to be.

Anyone else notice Kenny Sebastian's voice? He was the online poker guy. Loved the first episode. I am so happy that our country has these incredibly talented comedians who are coming up with intelligent and funny original content. Can't wait for more. Please try to bring Biswa and Kaneez etc. Also a small suggestion: please check the subtitles twice for us grammar nazis. :)

Love this series, watched it multiple times!. Being a big fan of The Office, it was very refreshing to see a similar, yet totally genuine story totally relatable to Indian audience.

I just love this series. I think it was written very well and executed to perfection, because getting this kind of humor across to the audience requires skill. Hats off 😁

I watched BLF after 6 months because every time I finish watching it i have this realization that i couldn't watch season 2, and that really saddens me. This show is one of my favorites because I really love to watch something which is made with actual effort and a small group of people work really hard to create it with so much love. And, I love how all of the characters are so likable! This show makes me genuinely happy. I wish I could watch season 2 because I am pretty sure it's as amazing as the 1st season if not more. But I do know you guys tried everything you could to bring it back, and I cannot even imagine what it feels like to have a show that you all created with so much love and effort with your friends gets taken down. More power to you guys! :)

Beautiful and clean show for the new generation. And yes, you can see inspirations but still you can see the originality!! Great writing and even better execution.

I love The Office, and for a long time I haven't found anything that could replicate the essence of that show. Came across the Better Life Foundation recently created by this fantastic crew, and I love it! The content is so original! Hats off to the whole crew.

I m watching this 10th time, literally 10 times already. Hopefully to see something more like this. Authentic, cultured and humor. Great job! All the actors are so naturally, the scene and scripts are pure sense of humor.

Awesome! I have loved mockumentary series like Arrested Development, The Office, Parks and Recreation etc. and it's so refreshing to see Indian content in the similar format.. :) After Star Boyz ended, I was wondering what else to get hooked on to. I found this. Yay! P.S. It's fun to see Kenny's replies in the comments. LOL.

I end up watching this and star boys once or twice every year and it just gets better with every rewatch ✨

It's out.

Looks interesting, clearly takes inspiration from The Office and Parks and Recreation. I suppose the cinematography could be improved a bit, the lighting looks flat (like a daily soap) and it could use some colour grading. The timings of the camera movements need to be perfected as well. I'm only comparing it with other popular mockumentaries including arrested development and trailer park boys. Also I'm not sure but I'm guessing they use a different shutter angle at times during sudden movements. That said it looks really interesting, would love to see how the characters' idiosyncrasies are portrayed and developed over the next episodes. Can't wait for the next episode.

Nice of you to look into such small details but arrested development and trailer park boys have huge corporations funding it and you have to pay a subscription fee to what those shows while this is content you can watch for free and produced with a budget 1/70th of other shows.

Right, I realise that, although I'm not aware of the budget but I guess some of those things can be (and I'm sure will be) worked upon at minimal increment in cost. I'm only making a suggestion here. I guess when KZread Red comes to India it would be great if they pick up some of the creators like the ones here for KZread Originals. Such creativity and enough funding would be something to watch out for.

I know I am late, but I am glad i found this. After watching The Office umpteenth time and having been disappointed watching its Indian spinoff, it was a breath of fresh air. Kudos to the team.

Love it! Really happy to see you went the Parks n Rec way, its much more cheerful and hilarious. Loving the characters, already hate Anirban and love Sumukhi and Naveen haha. Please make these episodes for a good amount of time, not just 5-6 episodes. The low budget is no problem, we just want this amazing writing and these talented actors in India. You could shoot in a barn for all I care, keep making em!! :D :D
