I don't know why South Indians should get angry about this. After all, he has shown so realistically about how North Indians stereotype us South Indians. Very realistic, it's true that many of them still call us Madrasi and don't know Geography (Sorry to disappoint you but there are 5 different states in the South, u do have to spend some time in remembering that). Very realistic portrayal of the North Indian ignorance!

Exactly . They're actually showing the mirror to the sterotypes North Indians put on South Indians . The whole scene is actually making fun of the the guy for his prejudice rather than ripping on South Indians . I don't get how people can't pick up on that .

He was uncomfortable when the in-laws were too good to him, if it was girl the in-laws won't be like this at all .. imagine how she lives in that house of strangers

It's a good first episode! definitely interested to see what's gonna come ahead! I don't know why people are slamming the authors! You guys are doing a good job, first with little things and now this!

And I am here again I have lost my count of watching this season of this series So so so good

I mean I have seen season 2 as well as 3 but nothing beats this season. Seeing all over again and again and again

Well done guys! Amazing actors! And it's quite realistic. This series is not about promoting anything against the "elder society" but it just shows the most realistic of things that happen in day to day life with younger generation. Kids nowadays have become more genuine, and there's nothing wrong in that. Although there's no harm to be welcomed by a tikka, there's no harm if we don't practice it either. It just makes the situation a little less dramatic and fuss free, especially if the guest is tired af. Similarly, the habit of elders pouring the food continuously on the plate is kind of frustrating, and that's what happens in most of the families. No one can eat beyond their limit, and overdoing things, in order to show respect, actually becomes disrespectful inturn. If the person says he/she can't consume more, then that's it. It doesn't mean they are shy of anything. If they would feel the need to have more, they'll simply do. It's just that children nowadays are a little more genuine, practical and straight forward and parents should understand that and respect their opinion too wherever necessary. Otherwise, everyone knows they are obviously the most adorable human biengs ever born ;). Rest everything is a part of the series, enjoy as is. :)

I think that they’re or were trying to portray the stereotypical attitude most North Indians have towards South Indians. And it’s not portrayed in lol he’s right kind of way. Most of the stereotypical joke on South Indians fall flat and leaves an awkward silence. I mean it’s a typical North Indian family, they’re gonna have their own prejudices which will show through their actions or advices to the younger generation. However the show doesn’t portray that stereotyping as wisdom but as prejudice. As a South Indian myself I didn’t find it one bit offensive. Rather I enjoyed the awkwardness😂 I mean if they were like South Indians are like this and they all shared a laugh it would be different. But they didn’t.

Please start this series agaain. M in love with this series.
