Cool to see the de-emphasis of the wrist snap from your earlier videos to now. It’s really interesting to see that arm swing theory has changed so much in just a few years, especially the importance of hip and shoulder separation.

how do i follow through without hitting the net? Im 15 years old,5’4 and i can spike on a 245 net. However that happens very rarely. There was one time well i spiked the ball incredibly well,it went inside the front zone (behind the center line) and it also had a lot of power. That basically confirmed that i could do it,i just cant replicate it again after doing it once. Also id like more tips when it comes to home exercises for jumping,as although im super close,i cant hit the backboard yet. (getting taller tips would also help😢)Thanks edit:thanks to everyone,i think i got it.I focused more on vertical momentum rather than horizontal momentum,as well as actively tried to jump infront of the ball rather than under.Ive found it to be way easier to hit like this.Nevertheless, practice keeps going

Can you maybe make a video tutorial about all the numbers for different types of sets? Like for example a 3 set (shoot), a 5 or a 4. In multiple videos of you saying different numbers for different kinds of sets I didn't know what you are talking about at all. I know some now but it would help a lot if you could make a video about it!! Thanks in advance coach!!

On a 4 step approach generally you want your first or second step to contact the ground at the same time the setter touches the ball. On shoots and 1's you are already jumping when the setter touches the ball. Off sets you just have to do your best to wait or change your approach angle.

quite confused here. every time you show the arm swing technique you twist your wrist and do like a hammer fist motion where at the end you twist your wrist again to open your hand. but in all your slow motion actual in game swings and hits - you never do this. nor do any of the other players. you just bring your hand up already in the hitting position and hit. no hammer fist no wrist twist.

I DONT agree, that wrist snap is not important. I would say it is the most important part for shorter people to induce the top spin. Without top spin you won't be able to hit the court.
