Bette Davis' 69-Year-Old Daughter Claims Her Mom Practiced Witchcraft

More from Inside Edition: bit.ly/2bF0iuC
Bette Davis' daughter, B.D Hyman, is making shocking claims about her mom following the release of the new miniseries, Feud: Bette and Joan, which recreates Davis' rivalry with fellow Hollywood icon Joan Crawford. Hyman and Davis had a tumultuous relationship throughout most of her life. Davis died in 1989 at age 80 and in her will, she disinherited her daughter. Hyman recently posted a KZread video to promote her Christian ministry and made jaw-dropping claims about her mother. #InsideEdition

Alissa Gail Yes! It broke her mothers heart when she released that book. Bette was diagnosed with terminal cancer when the book came out. She was struggling physically and mentally and then she had to deal with this on top of it. While she was in hospital her daughter was doing interviews on Phil Donahue. When Bette was first diagnosed BD would only go to the hospital if her mother sent a limo for her. All the witch stuff is absolute nonsense. BD tries to blame all her families problems on her mothers "witchcraft" including her sons depression which she claims is from a spell Bette did.

Betty and Joan were both narcissists and it's very difficult to be the child of those kind of people. Their daughters had to do something to release the emotional abuse they've suffered from their mothers. Any child of a narcissist parent suffers for the rest of their life. Writing a book about the "real person" their mothers were is really nothing compared to what they went through all their lives. I don't blame them at all for telling the truth even if it was painful for the mothers...

When you really look at it, BD's role in Whatever Happened To Baby Jane was totally unnecessary. She was the daughter of the nosy neighbor, but in actuality, only the nosy neighbor was necessary to the movie. Bette clearly insisted that the producers and writers find room for BD somewhere in the movie, and her big scene where she was shown talking to her mother was not at all needed. And BD just overacted in that scene.

"Bitter?" Davis' daughter wrote such ridiculous things, such as hating her mother for buying her thousands of dollars worth of clothing, without asking the daughter first, Yeh, that's a real abuse case. She divulged private conversations Davis had with her, to the entire world. The daughter is a bottom feeder, who wanted to make money because she had no talent, and was jealous of her mother. Betty loved her daughter, her heart was broken by that stupid book that never indicated abuse, just a spoiled daughter's rantings.

What is Christian about bad-mouthing your deceased mother?

I find it odd that both the daughters, of these two DIVA'S, wrote "TELL ALL BOOKS". They were two very complicated women. Both were alcohols. Both supposedly abusive. Here's the difference. Joan, was very mild mannered, graceful, and respectful, when dealing with her fans & the public: interviews, etc. Then could be explosive, behind closed doors. Betty Davis, on the other hand, said what she thought. No matter who she was around. She didn't pretend nor put on heirs.

Betty and Joan didn’t hate each other...there is a johnny Carson interview where he asked who is the last person in Hollywood you would act in a movie with...she said Faye Dunaway cause mommy dearest had just come out.

She did not like her after working on a picture where she played Faye Dunaway’s mother! David said she was unprofessional and late.

I think Bette was possibly quite a difficult parent but I think the truth is somewhere inbetween Bette and BD's accounts. BD has obviously broken with reality here!

I have read This N That. I met Miss Davis with my grandma in California in the late 80's. She was the most lovely, kind woman. I will NEVER believe she satanic or mentally abusive. Miss Davis was a class act. She started an on going charity cause for veterans of our country. She was an amazing actress. BD Hyman doesn't seem very Christian like to me at all; she seems immature and bitter and jealous.
