Just ordered Beth's memoir. I cant even begin to stress how thankful i am for Beth and Russell. I've been in the wilderness with friends and family since 2016 too. I've felt like an outcast because i no longer fit the conservative evangelical world because of these dark hypocritical elements that were not even hiding anymore, but i knew in my faith i couldnt just switch jerseys and join something that was anathema of my core beliefs. Finding other Christians without a tribe has been vital for me to see that i am not alone. Thanks again for what you guys do.

49:28 thank you so much for your interview with Beth. 15 year ago I took my first Beth Moore Bible study. I studied 15 more with Beth and attended many live events. I had been a Christian for many years and had read the Bible as an obligation, always feeling guilty that I had little hunger for it. God used Beth’s teaching to change obligation to ravenous hunger for the Word. That’s the only way I can explain it. My absolute favorite thing to do now is to spend all day with Jesus, my Bible and my journal. I wish I could sit down with Beth and tell her how many of the truths she taught are cemented in my faith today. I would tell her that the Holy Spirit used her single-handedly in my life to excite me to studying God’s Word. Nothing is more satisfying. I would have never thought Jesus or the Word could thrill me. He has become better than a person with skin. How did that happen? The Holy Spirit used Beth Moore’s teaching to ignite my spiritual hunger. I hope she reads this, because I’d like her to know.

I just need to say one thing. Thank you - back in 2016 as I saw church swept up in something I could not take part in I desperately sought out others who were concerned about what was happening and I found that the other you had the concerns I was expressing g and being verbally assaulted for on Christian social network threads You two kept me okay 👌

I listened to the audio-version of My Knotted-Up Life by Beth Moore and it has to be the best representation of a personal memoir!! Jesus Christ is the reason she is saved, and He chose her to be His, just as He chooses anyone who takes the leap of faith. I respect that she is being obedient to her God given love of God's Word and love of God through it. I am thankful that she answered the call to tell women that there is a place for them in the Kingdom of God.

When "the Moores" were commiserating about losing friends, all I could think about is the life-long leaders and members who were asked to leave back around the early 1980s. I was acquainted with some and they were devastated. Most of them are dead by now, but it would make for a great show to draw the parallels.

I spent many years with my ladies doing 14 of Beth Moore's studies. I have read this new memoir she wrote. Al I can say is the lady was railroaded. Some things she tells in this book makes me want to slap a bunch of so--called "Christian" women. It made me ashamed to identify with Christian women. They treated her with such viciousness and evilness I could not believe it. But through it all , Beth never let go of God. I have never read such a book of total loving devotion to God as Beth has written. I am proud to continue to study her material. Blessings on Beth !!

As a child growing up at First Baptist Church Houston, I saw more than a few deacons who used the excuse of standing outside as “greeters” to light up a cigarette or two. And my saintly Georgia grandmother who was president of WMU and a Sunday schoolteacher in the TLE class had a spit can at the side of her rocker, which can was always hidden when “the preacher came to call.” Thank you both for your honesty and courage in speaking out on important issues. I am a “lapsed” Southern Baptist as well, but grateful for the good in the theology that was part of my upbringing. I’m 10+ years older than you youngsters, but every day with Jesus is still sweeter than the day before.

I've thought a lot about leaving a comment. The problem is, that when the Bible has an explicit prohibition, and people refuse to acknowledge it, what is there to say? 1 Timothy 2:12-3:7

It is also tough to be in a pentecostal church to think differently politically, etc. I have not found another church, have tried a few, but then certain topics come up... then I need to leave. It has put a strain on a lot of my friendships.

Oh, Beth. I’m standing in my kitchen crying as I remember your book and how raw and beautiful it was. I first found you 20 years ago as a young woman. Now I have four kids, one of whom is an adult (she is a fierce young woman and a pilot), and I can not thank you enough. You saved my life and you made a way for me to be the healthy mom I never had. I weep for all of the girls and women who were mistreated. Let their stories be heard, finally, if they are ready. And let us say “no more!” ❤

Christianity Today and all the confusion that comes with Protestantism makes me grateful to be a convert to the Orthodox Church ☦️ Lord have mercy on my Protestant family and friends who are still seeking the Ark of Salvation. No more reformation, no more revolution, it's time to Return. (It's telling and encouraging to see a one day old youtube by Orthodox Fr Spyridon Bailey receiving 10k views compared to this video....shows thar people are hungry for the Life giving Church).

Russell Moore appears to be drifting more toward the center and away from biblical truth. I cannot believe he cursed (36:00). This is sad to see. Beth Moore needs to dress more modestly and stop sexualizing her body if she wants to minister to the body of Christ (men and young boys included). If she is the face of evangelical women, then the movement is in deep trouble. I do believe 1 Timothy 2:12 is being set aside in the name of love and openness.

Women could dress in cement block tents and men would still find a way to lust after them and some other women would still find a way to be catty with each other. It isn't how women dress, it's what's in our hearts that causes issues of this nature. God looks on our hearts after all and we're called to be like him. Get the beam out of your own eye first so you can more clearly see the speck in another's that you're so anxious to call attention to is my advice.

It’s amazing to me how many Pharisees are posting on here, criticizing their sister in the Lord openly and freely, it reminds me of watching The Chosen, all the hypocrisy of the so- called “faithful”. Beth can stand unashamed before Jesus- y’all criticizing her need to get that timber out your eyes!
