I will ALWAYS stop to watch someone react to this musical beast of a woman. Her talent is utterly amazing. You can't help but feel whatever she performs in the very depths of your soul. The insane part of it is...with her own band, she's this amazing. BUT. When she and Joe Bonamassa are performing together? Those two bring out the best in each other, and it becomes otherworldly. You should check Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa "I'll Take Care of You," "I'd Rather Go Blind," and "Close to my Fire," from the Live in Amsterdam concert. You'll be a forever fan of the both of them.

@@SarahDengler So you have, lol. I'm a more recent subscriber, and I hadn't made it that far back yet. Then, in the spirit of helping ya branch out, I'll steer you in the direction of Jonny Lang. An amazing guitarist, amazing singer, started his career in blues very young. His first single was "Lie to Me." It was released the day before he turned 16, and you would think he'd lived a whole lifetime with how much soul he poured into the music at such a young age. I'd recommend "Lie to Me," "Breakin' Me," "Walking Away," and off his newest album, which is a lovely blend of gospel and blues, "Singing Songs."

There is quite simply nobody better. Her talent combined with her incredible stage presence just allows her to completely take you over. She drags you headlong into her lyrics with her passion and pure emotion. She can make you laugh and cry in a single sound, and always leaves you wanting more. I saw her in February, and she has become one of my favorite performers. Long live the present day Queen Of The Blues. ♥️♥️♥️✌🏼😎

Beth wrote this song - so authentically the blues. Down and dirty, achy, sexy and wailing. Go back a bit to when she was doing smaller clubs and watch one of her peak vocal performances on A Change Gonna Come or Sister Heroine. She's such a gifted singer and performer with a thrilling voice. She's just too real and dangerous and sexual for her own country to celebrate her.

Check out Leave the light on from the very same show …I was privileged to have been at that very concert . A few weeks prior she played a real small intimate theatre and I managed to get front row . I could virtually shake her hand from my seat . Simply amazing as is her talent ❤❤❤

I'll say it again it's so nice to watch someone take in such great music. Hearing these great songs and seeing someone appreciate them as much as I do makes it's so much better to listen to. A song I think you should hear just because of your appreciation of music is Dobie Gray Drift Away. This is a song written (literally) to music thanking music for being there. One line in the song "And when the guitars coming thru to sooth me,I want you to know i believe in your song". Since I'm a teenager this has been my favorite song ever. Best to do a Stuido Version first to really catch the essence of the music.

I had the oportunity to see and hear her live in Romania.. She is something else.. Amazing voice and performance.. every time she sings she's telling a story with her voice.. just an amazing singer she is.

Your comments were spot on as usual! 👍 Another artist that I think will blow you away is Faouzia. She was born in Morocco but the family moved to Canada when she was young. You can hear the Arabic influence in her music. She also plays several instruments including piano. Make sure any video you choose of hers is “stripped” A good start is Tears of Gold (from Stripped: Live in Concert)
