I love this so much

I have insomnia anxiety and depression. I had a best friend called Sam. My name is teagan and I miss him a lot. He killed himself ( hung himself ) almost two years ago on the ninth of may so the throne of glass books ( especially "the assassins blade" ) mean a lot to me and I got very emotional while reading them and this song describes all those undescribable feelings I had while reading.

She's incredible! She has one of those voices that when you hear it, you just _know_ who it is.

I can't help but think this song represents not only caelena but all the characters. I mean it could be obvious for some people but to me it took a while to figure it out a bit. The "born to be a weapon" could apply to both manon and cealetna. And "I never thought I could love... strangers at night were enough" to me is Dorian. "And the war inside me... claim what's mine" is cealena. "Flying I feel infinite" that is Manon and maybe rowan, (referring to him finally being free from maeve and off the shoulder reference to his hawk form). And "I am my own worst enemy" can apply to every single character in that book in my opinion. Of course I may be reading to much into it

When I heard the song for the first time, I instantly remembered Throne Of Glass. After that I discovered that the song was really based on books! You did a very good job, the song represents the book completely. The history, the feelings ... All

I listened to the song twice. Once coming from Manon's point of view and one from Celaena's, I never realised how similar they are... No wonder they don't get along 😂❤️

im an imaginative person... everyday as i go to school i daydream scenarios of characters i make up... ever since quarantine happened i havent been able to go to school and i felt like i was trapped at home and my imagination ceased to exist.. ive been wanting to write something for a year. ive gotten ideas but kept scrapping them as i got irritated thinking "this isnt good enough." im going to school next month :') i finally have a story idea i like and this song... it gave me such a good idea for a character and im so thankful for that... it touched me so deeply i love your music

I love coming back to this song because as the Throne of Glass series came out, this song is the perfect mixture of Manon and Aelin!

I like that I keep being directed to new and beautiful songs. I've been so depressed for so long and getting worse. I lay in bed and listen to all the great songs. Sometimes it really helps to hear them.

The melody makes my day, it seems imagined about the music in 1980s. I still remember this melody has cut scenes of sad love film.

This does fit in with Throne of glass really well but when I first listened to this my head was screaming at me "A Court of Thorns and Roses". It also fits in with that series really well. (It fits a bit more with ACOTAR then ToG in my opinion)

Does anyone else think of A Court of Mist and Fury when they hear this...? No? Just me? Okay... *sobs*

One of the top comments is about how great it felt to find this song as it matches one of the characters in a book he's writing, and for me, it's the same for books I'm reading. It correlates SO much and even though I've matched this to a villain, her life story is so sad and it goes so well with it.

This song reminds me of Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels. She was raised a Mandalorian and she knew exactly what she was for - to hurt and destroy and nothing more. She created a weapon to be used against her own people and she discovered that she was her own worst enemy. Then she felt something rebellious inside and she left the Empire to join the rebels and now she uses her skills to fight the Empire she once served and she lets everyone hear her battle cry. Great song!
