You are the ONLY resource I have found (across Khan Academy, Kaplan, UWorld, AK lectures, etc.) that has really helped me understand metabolism conceptually. THANK YOU! Every question I had (and I felt like I had a million haha) you managed to answer. Thank you so, so much!!!!
Thank you for putting so much work into making these!!
Life saver!!! I was losing my mind trying to understand and absorb this concept because my Biochem classes never talked about Beta oxidation and Fatty acid metabolism. Your video was the only one that I understood completely. Thank you so much for this!!
You are an incredible teacher. Thank you for teaching this information in such a digestible way!
wow, what a great video!!! You enable me to visualise how all this works. thank you.
This is fantastic! Thank you for these videos. Your enthusiasm and clarity of presentation are very appreciated. Could you please do a video on beta oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids (each of the different cases we could encounter)?
Thank you good sir. THANK YOU!!!!
Underrated AF ez content review
Excellent ... well done ...
Your videos are amazing
U deserve more comments
Anyone else distracted by the "Undo Paint Stroke" at the top lol
you are a legend
this is amazing
Brilliant
Amazing
thank u for ur service!!!!!!!!
amazing!!!!
Where have you been all my life
thank you God bless
Thank youuuuuuuuu❤❤❤
I sort of thought FAs are sent to most cells in the body (except brain and RBC), and all our cells do B oxidation, getting energy from the ATP produced. But this video is actually saying that that's wrong, and what happens is actually FAs are mainly used by liver to generate ATP to support gluconeogenesis, which then releases glucose to the body. Did I get this right?

I apologize I didn’t intend to send that message but I understand it comes off that way… my intention was in most circumstances for MCAT purposes, a context you regularly see beta oxidation is towards fueling gluconeogensis… and also ketogenesis and Ketoacids are a fuel source for cells during the fasted state… however there are cells that use fatty acids, for example the heart uses lipids as a source of energy regularly and it is more nuanced than what the video shows… my focus was for purposes for the MCAT…
👌 wow!!!
I love u
