Adam, thank you for watching. If you are a high elevation rider, the head will provide for the loss of power you experience when going up in altitude. You can expect to ride some of the climbs you would need to downshift for, in a higher gear. Bike runs crisp and torquey with the head. Having high comp heads on other bikes (KTM's), I had the same expectation and what to expect when I installed this head on the BETA. If you aren't riding high elevation then I would not install it as you would likely need to run higher octane fuel than pump 91 to compensate for the pre detonation it will give you at low altitude.

So far I have only adjusted to the manual's specifications for elevation and temp. I would assume this is going to change once the summer heat is here and I go up in elevation even more. I plan on doing a follow up video soon once I get some more time on the bike with the head. Thank you

Did you use the oem head bolts or did the RK Tek Head come with their own to use?

RK does not supply bolts and you can re use your OEM bolts. I would suggest ordering new copper washers and an extra head bolt to replace the one bolt out of the six which uses a hex security bit to remove.
