Picked up a Swordfish in Magnacut fo only $89 delivered. You nailed it that this is a great tool. Large blade and solid construction that is very comfortable to hold. The 4 inch blade provides a lot of cutting surface. Perfect for what it is.

Awesome review. I just grabbed this S35VN version a week or two ago. I really like it. I have a recent D2 version also, but this white G10 S35 model is so sick.

Man, I just ordered this knife and I’m stoked.!! Can’t wait to get it, I ain’t no knives savvy or anything but I’m upgrading from a simple little Cold Steel Tuff Lite haha 😂…I was looking for a better blade and not so expensive, the S35VN met the criteria. great review about the knife 👍🏽

I had the warwolf and loved it but it fell out of my pocket/truck at some point so was time to replace it. The goal was something similar but different in case I get lucky and it turns back up at some point. So naturally the swordfish was close to the warwolf, seemed like the right way to go until I saw the knife center exclusive version, which just got dropped off this morning (black blade version) and man is this a nice looking knife!

I agree. Bestech is a sleeper brand. It doesn't get nearly enough attention and they have impressed me more than Civivi, on average. Their higher end TI stuff is all really well made and, again, criminally underrated and under-exposed.

@@thepracticalblade9013 agree 100%. Between the warwolf and the swordfish they've become my manufacturer of choice. What you get for the $$ is really hard to beat. The action is always smooth and on point. The made in China may dissuade some but we see companies like primary arms make rifle scopes in China with strict quality control and what we get as a result is some of the best products for the money spent, products that would easily cost double if made locally.

Not a bad knife for the money. I got one for my collection, and also got one each for my 2 Son's.

G'day Cory, all the best for the season mate. Hope things are good where you are. Love this design in S35, but not so much with the light colored scales, been searching around for black or at least dark with S35 rather than D2, without luck, anywhere you know of that meets my criteria ? Re; the thumb ramp; Its a bit like my Bravo 1.5, com'n down on the other side, it either suits or it doesn't, luckily mine does, but at at least Bestech have done that simple thing to give every possible chance for everyone's thumbs. @@eyeofthetiger4184 Check out this link, it's "Rit Dye" - www.ritdye.com/products/black/ The short version is that you combine the rit dye with water and boil the scales with it. I'm oversimplifying, but there are a ton of tutorials on KZread of how to do it. Pretty much makes you able to make G10 any color you want. A lot of people actually buy knives with jade g10 handles specifically because it's very light and takes rit dye very well. So, if they want a knife in blue that is only offered in, say, jade g10 or black g10, they'll buy the jade g10 and rit dye it blue.
