I have the same bagger on a ferris 700z. Both are great! To check when the bags are full I move the mower back and forth and can see how much is in the bags when they swing. Great video!

Boomer it truly is a great setup and that is a great idea with the swinging. Love that. 😂
Thanks for the video! Have you had a chance to use it for leaf cleanup? If so, what are your thoughts on performance?

Yes tons of leaf cleanup the past two seasons. Amazing performance bc it grinds the leaves up. It is the main reason I bought it

I bought the same system thinking that it would be great for leaves I was having the opposite results as listed below. These leaves were getting sucked up hole and I would quickly fill up the bags that were probably one or 2 pounds total because of the whole leaves. Because the impeller does not hit the leaves a lot of them get sucked up. It has done a better job since I bought the G3 mulching blades from Oregon company. Other issues I have had is that I cannot tighten the hose bands tight enough and sometimes when driving one or both will pop off if you hit a good size bump. I wish that the Shute had a longer male portion but only having one or 2 inches for the band to grip on doesn’t seem to work well. Like I said I’m still trying to work out the kinks and it is getting better with the mulching blades but I am used to a cyclone rake that would really mulch up the leaves really well. As far as price having it ordered delivered and installed cost me almost $3000 which I thought was a little outrageous for the performance that I am getting. I love the lawnmower but the bagger I think is severely overpriced. What are your thoughts on the price versus performance?

@@A-GUY-AND-HIS-TRACTOR I def understand on the mulching vs sucking up leaves. It doesn't bother me too much and I'm prolly 50/50 btw the two. I haven't had a bagger system before so my comparison with other types was non-existent. I have been happy so far with the performance but I def agree that for leaves it can be quite a few trips. I will look into those mulching blades that is a great idea.

@@HaulYT for my mower deck which is the 61 inch they said the G3 would fit. I put them on and they work great. Probably mulches the leaves down 15 to 1.

@@A-GUY-AND-HIS-TRACTOR awesome thank you for this great feedback
I have a IS 600 25HP Brigs with a 52" deck and for some reason Ferris has a not available with a 3 bagger only 2. Watching your video hook up looks the same. Any idea why ?

I don't im wondering if it is a weight issue to ensure the weight of the mower distribution is correct?
I am having an issue with the hose staying on. I have tightened the fasteners down a much as they can an its still sliding off.

Thomas I haven't run into this issue actually. Does the alignment seem to be right or is it just the vibration that is causing the issue
I was wondering where you purchased the bagger...I have a Snapper Pro150 52" desk...I was wondering if this bagger would fit my zero turn...How much was these beauty?

Richard I went to my local Ferris Dealer and I'm pretty sure it was right around $2,700 installed.

@@HaulYT You're way wealthier than I am I can't afford $2,700 for a bagging system...I was thinking more like $700.00 is even high for my standards.

@@richardfreeman4189 yeah as stated above mine was $3000 installed which in my opinion is way overpriced for what you get. I’ve owned a cyclone rake that I just traded in when purchasing the Ferris mower and I’ve owned that for over 25 years and loved it. With this system it doesn’t work as well and I find myself unclogging the chute and emptying the bags within a few passes over a good bed of leaves
