Just practice natural short hop and then fast fall then combining them both. when you short hop fast fall with A for nair short hop first, then press A and as soon as you let go fast fall it takes a bit.

@@johngipson1402 Thanks ! I'm doing it like this but true that timing is tricky with ledge jump ff nair (often, I just end hoping Nair). But maybe that's just an impression, It seems sooo fluid with Marss/Nairo, I wonder if they use c-stick for that...

Dear You They don't use c-stick for nairs, I'm pretty sure you can't use c-stick for nairs in ultimate. They just practiced the input over and over until they could do it every time without issue. It sucks, but you have to sit in training mode for a couple of hours and do that input and nothing else nonstop until you can do it every time without hesitation or thinking about it. Break down the motions first, practice short hop, then only short hop fast fall, then add the A button input, and practice that. You'll get it in no time man! Labbing is what it's all about, the time spent in training will pay off.

You can't nair with c-stick. It's done with A button. Btw if you combo nair to down B flip kick, you can hold the left stick in the direction zss is facing and use c-stick in the other direction to flip kick. That way she doesn't go that far offstage if you miss and I find it easier to conect the combo.

@@dearyou6846 Press 2 jump buttons (stick jump doesn't count) to instantly short hop fast fall and press a for the nair directly after. I don't know why people say you're supposed to practice just barely pressing a single jump button to get it when there's a full proof consistent way of doing it. I personally use L and Y for my jump buttons and I play with claw grip.

@@fabiofrancescangelimuguert5351 I agree. MARSS has pretty much established ZSS in smash Ultimate at this point. Nairo has played her on and off but not seriously for competitive Smash Ultimate. ZSS isn't a character you can play as a secondary. She's a MAIN. You have to dedicate a large majority of practice on her to expect any results. Something MARSS has done non-stop since Smash 4 going into Ultimate. Nairo is skilled enough to be on Marss level if he ever gave Zss an actual chance. I hope he realizes that Zss is a better character in the long run than Palutena.

Sorry to say this because I really like her but...she's just bad in this game...and with bad I don't mean in general. But the amount of effort and skill you need to put in her to do something isn't worth it. U could also Main Lucina and Ganon and do the same amount of damage with much higher knockback and 100 times less skill. She defenetly need some true low % grab combo

I get it...but at the same time if she had a low% combo her neutral becomes even more ridiculous. She'll easily become top 6 in the game just off that small change imo. And she already a top tier character soooo

MHBarney she takes some time and effort but zero suit is potentially a top tier for sure. She’s nowhere near bad and still has a lot of jank that doesn’t take any skill. (Flip kick spike and bury)
