I remember when elf was exclusively sold on the Shop Miss A website and none of their products were over $1!!! They have come such a long way and they are still so affordable for the quality of their products….I love this brand!!

@@lanaatkins3872 seriously? Why do you say that? Their prices are by far the lowest in the entire drugstore LOL. I get 900 dollars for the ENTIRE MONTH and I consider them to be affordable. I'm 35 and I never bought high end in my life because THOSE ARE ridiculous prices so that's saying a lot coming from a person who is literally living way below the poverty line. Maybe their skin care is getting up there, but skin care IS expensive from every brand. So not sure what you're talking about. Have you even browsed their ENTIRE website? I have. From top to bottom and their prices are very good in my opinion. I never see prices that are $3, $4, and $5 dollars at the drugstore except maybe from wet n wild. So... Not sure what you mean. Guess you expect them to sell things for $1?

I agree with all of your choices in this video! I just feel so proud of Elf as a brand because of the amazing quality of their products. I am older, and I remember when the brand launched, and I've been a huge fan ever since!! AND, they just launched some new skincare products, that includes a niacinamide serum!! PS I agree with you about the Ride or Die Lip Balm. I received one as a birthday present from Elf and it just does not feel like a balm at all. And, it is a mess to apply!!

This was a great video 👍🏼 I would love to see more videos like this talking about other brands.

Elf has so many good products. I love their budge proof cream eyeshadow. I purchased the white and use it as an eye primer. It's amazing. My shadows looks good all day long. It's the best eye primer I've tried in awhile.

Omg I freakin love elf, they have so many good products at great prices. I love the eyeshadow quads, jelly dew & poreless primer, putty blushes, wow brow, halo glow powder, all night setting spray & makeup melting balm to name a few haha. Thank you so much for this video! I was legit searching for a best of elf last week bc I was placing an order. I already picked up some of the items you mentioned but I’ll def be trying some more in the future!

This was such a great in depth video! You really answered a lot of my questions and helped me determine what I'm splurging on and what to skip. Really enjoyed watching this video and truly appreciate your opinions and the fact that you did your research to put it together for us! One of the best videos I've seen on elf products. I'm going to go watch your other drugstore make up videos that you linked below because I enjoyed this one so much. I appreciate that there are videos out there like this because some of us just don't have the money to waste on high end products, especially as prices are rising in just about everything. Half the time you're just paying for the name of a product when you shop high end anyways because make up is improving and I've seen drugstore options that are just as good as high end! Yesss we love elf 🤘🏼 the putty blushes (both) cream contour kit, acne putty primer and I just purchased the vitamin c putty primer, as well as the smudge proof eyeshadows, and I love the skincare, holy hydration line as well as the pure skin and the acne breakthrough line!

Elf has such great products at a great price point, and they’re doing a such a good job with staying on trend with their releases. Hope you have fun in TN!

ELF has been really hitting it out if the ballpark these days. That Halo Glow is just gorgeous. I bought it on a whim but it's now my favorite powder. All the brushes are fantastic. I love the big fluffy powder brush. Holy Hydration another great line & the bite sized shadows are great to travel or pop in your bag. Great video .. Thanks 😊

i just watched a video right before this one about another elf dupe for clinique black honey!! it’s the hydration core lip balm in the shade ‘ecstatic’. it looked pretty good in the video, curious to see how it looks on you and if it’s similar!! hope it works out💗💗

I love the Elf sponges. I won't buy any other brand. I haven't specifically tried the pink one, but have gotten the white ones that would put out with a holiday collection and the black/white sponge from the Cookies & Cream collection. They're so soft and blend so well. I also still love the Ride or Die lip balm but totally understand what you mean. It's definitely more of a mask. Can't wait to get my hands on the new Halo Glow liquid filter!

Oh wow, I actually love the CBD line. The only thing I don't really use from that line is the moisturizer, but the body cream? I think I've repurchased it at least 12 times. My skin loves it. The scent is faint and doesn't last after drying. My skin is sensitive and that cream is one of the few products I use on my skin that calms it down

I love ELF’s Jellypop Glow Stick. For me it's the perfect highlight formula and color in a stick form. It gives me a glow without looking obvious. :)

Ha! I just placed an elf order today and that powder came in a set with the new filter glow !

My favorite e.l.f. product is the Jelly Pop Dew Primer. I haven’t tried the other gripping primer, but I enjoy the light watermelon scent of the Jelly Pop one. I don’t usually like primers, but I do feel like this one does help.

Elf's white handled concealer brush, dipped in nail polish remover, is perfect for cleaning up around the edges of my at-home manicures!😉

I recently tried their pressed finishing powder that is like $4 and I’m really liking it for lightly setting under my eyes and t-zone! Before that I was using the pat McGrath under eye setting powder then switched to the LYS pressed powder and so happy to have found an even cheaper option! Only downside is it comes in the cheaper clear plastic packaging that feels like it could break easily but for the price I don’t mind too much!

I love ELF I have and love a lot of the products you spoke about I agree with you about the brushes with the white handle I just use the big fluffy one For my powder bronzer sometimes

I lost my wow brow somewhere (along with 2 mascaras) and I actually miss it much more than I thought! Also agree with the bite quad being awesome and I love their black brushes. Lately I’ve been enjoying the hydrating toner. The hydrating camo concealer is nice but the matte was so bad. Showed every pore and imperfection on my face.

What is your favorite way to apply the Elf powder foundation? I struggle to make that powder look good on my skin as a foundation.

When Elf Cosmetics was in the mall, I always purchased them in store from Elf. I have to repurchase the Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows in Pinky Swear, 24K Gold, Mermaid Shimmy, and Purple Reign. These are my favorite one and day eyeshadow. I haven't tried yet the Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow, Wow Tinted Brow Gel, Ultra Precise Retractable Eyebrow Liner, Love Triangle Vegan Lip Liner, Glossy Lip Stain (my first one was from Victoria's Secret in a red shade and I'm sad that they don't make lip stains anymore), Sheer Slick Lipstick which isn't sold at either Target or Ulta, Hydrating Core Lip Shine, Halo Glow Liquid Filter, Power Grip Makeup Primer, Luminous Putty Blush, and Daily Dew Stick for makeup. For makeup that I did try and love are the No Budge Eyeshadow Sticks (Mint, Champagne Glam, Rose Gold and Bronze Metal), Bite Size Mini Eyeshadow Palettes, Lip Lacquer, Seriously Satin Lipstick, Halo Glow Powder, Putty Bronzer, Putty Blush, Camo Powder Foundation -> it's a tie between that and the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Powder for Powder Foundation. I tried all of Elf's Skincare and tools and I love them both.

The ELF complexion sponge is amazing and so much more affordable than the Real Techniques. It also fits in the RT travel case. ;)

I'm waiting for a decently large elf order to arrive. My big annoyance with elf is their deliveries, it has been weeks since I ordered and it gets tedious when you're waiting for something (such a 1st world problem, I know 🙈). Instead of daily dew stick try the jelly pop glow stick, I got it in a mystery bag and honestly love it, doesn't remove coverage if applied in a tapping motion and glows so pretty

I totally agree with the expert liquid liner! I was using it for maybe over 4 years and then one year I bought one and it was not the same... Such a shame since it use to be my go-to and very cheap.

When we drove to florida from Missouri (took 24 hrs), we left in the evening so the majority of the drive would be at night when they were sleeping.

You’re going to love Tennessee! I was thinking about moving there but I’m too Jersey to live anywhere else than New Jersey. 🤣😂😂 at least for now anyway. Plus I love living so close to NY. @@AndreaMatillano I’m a North Jersey girl through and through. South Jersey is so different from North. There was a time they were considering splitting up the state North and South. I’m not sure what happened with that. I don’t think it’s as humid in TN as it is up here. PA/NJ/NY have a humidity that’s off the charts 🤣😂 Enjoy your vacation!

I agree with so many of these but the setting powder unfortunately didn't work for me at all. I tried it with a brush and a sponge and it always went on patchy. Also agree about the dew stick. The putty blushes are life though

At the beach bring a cheap shower curtain. What you’re gonna do is dig a small hole lay the shower curtain down then fill with ocean water. You can let him play in there under a umbrella and bring a bucket and some floating toys.

I found the ride or die lip balms too thick. I used to struggle so much getting it out of the tube as soon as I opened it.

Agree with Hannita- keep the baby up later and wear him out playing, etc before you go. If he starts to fuss feed him then he'll go to sleep.

I really like the CBD oil for my face I haven’t tried anything else and there’s this Matte setting spray that came in a baby pink squared bottle. I LOVE but they discontinued 💔

I agree that the e.l.f. Total Face Blending Sponge is the best makeup sponge! It’s better than Beauty Blender, Real Techniques, and AOA PawPaw.

elf oil control *serum* is best of any. 1. Soap & Glory The Fab Pore is little better than elf oil control lotion, but more expensive. 3. Neutrogena shine control primer is French 💋. Some people don't like gritty feel. It is effective!

if your son likes and is able to have some soft finger foods pack those, also bring some soft puffy books, his fave stuffie or toy, and his fave music if he has any those help some

Brushes w white handles tend to unglue on me I always end up going w the ones w black handle

I had a portable DVD player that attached to the seat so my kids could watch some movies. When they were real little they usually slept most of the trip

Woah I would never drive 12 hours, being from the UK we don't really do road trips here. The longest I did was 5 hours from Manchester to London. For kids hoping they just sleep or maybe getting a car DVD player or something to watch videos on might be a good idea to keep entertained. I love ELF as well, their glitter eyeshadows and putty blushes are my favourite. I didn't find the CC Camo cream that good though, it just didn't looks as nice or last as long as my high end foundations like NARS and Armani

I went to Walmart to get a few things and I checked out the elf section and they had like nothing it was crazy I was looking for 4 things the eyeshadow sticks , luminous putty blush ,the Halo glow ,the pen concealer and putty bronzer they had 1 color of I couldn't believe out of all that they had none. I did get a serum from the brand called Bubble the day dream serum and it's really nice I couldn't believe how nice for 17$ and the neutragea heathly skin serum foundation it's super lightweight really nice saw Rudi Berry using it and I needed a new light foundation in a darker color so I got it and super happy with it not elf but thought I would mention it. That's like all I ended up with makeup skincare wise from Walmart it's like they had not much at all and hardly any new releases either. I still haven't found the lip liners I have been looking at several places sense they came out ,I guess I'm gonna have to order from their site.

Elf highlighter: Apricot glow (baked highlighter)

Car trip tips - get lots of dollar store toys that your little has never seen before. It will be more entertaining and when he gets bored of one, you’ll move on to the next. A bottle of bubbles sounds weird, but you can get some entertainment by blowing bubbles around him. It is relatively easy to clean up any residue.

I love elf so much. but what ever happened to their hydrating essence? that stuff was the best! :(

I mixed 205N and 210N! One is a little too dark and the other one is a little too light!

I never see triangle lip filler in stores.

I’ve got a 3 year old and a 9 month old. Any time we’ve had to take long trips we drive at night as much as possible so they’re asleep.
