Came back to this video to share that I just learned about something called fatty spew, which is what appears to be on your Gucci platforms. Apparently it's the natural oil in the leather reacting to fluctuations in temperature, which makes sense when we think about the temp and humidity differences between Tennessee and New York. Heat from a blow dryer is supposed to help, but if it comes back you can purchase spew remover. Hope this helps!

That Fendi bag with a black, cropped fox fur coat, black turtleneck, black skinny jeans or a really, really quality legging, Jennifer Le's Axl boot, and some blacked out sunglasses!! 🤤🤤🤤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 And yes, Brandon Blackwood definitely understands the assignment when he makes a bag, but will miss the mark horribly once it comes time to make the strap. I have the Cara(??) the one shaped like the LV speedy. I love the bag, but strap is thin and of poor quality. But it's a flaw im willing to overlook bc his work overall is amazing, and as you said, we will him the space and grace to grow ❤

If you take your Gucci shoes to a cobbler ask if the white spots are fat from the leather. If so I think you need high heat like a blow dryer if you do it yourself to remove the spots. I had a leather bag and this worked on the white spots.

For the white stuff on the Gucci shoes if they are all leather it looks like that could be fatty spew, that can happen when there is a drastic temp and humidity change. I’ve gotten rid of it with using a blow dryer on high heat on a few of my vintage leather handbags. Do your research but that hack worked for me.

I’m a new subbie here. I have tuned in from time to time and really what I love is your unique style and energy. I feel like I need to step up my shoe game seeing all your beautiful ones. Great video and TFS!

I design and make shoes in the UK and recognise that the white stains on your Guccis (video timing 2:33) is called 'Blooming' where the salts rise to the surface of the leather. To disguise this take them to your cobbler and they will use a specialist shoecream with a tint. I hope that helps. Have a fantastic 2024. 😀

I saw a video a few days ago where this white residue was on a black Gucci handbag. The lady used a blow dryer to repair it. “Fatty spue, also called bloom, is a type of stain caused when residual fat from the leather reacts to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. It appears as a whitish patina or coating, which at first glance looks like white mould.”

Thanks! I have Sales Associates at most luxury stores and they send me all the new releases. If you work with an SA, they will send you new items and keep you abreast of new releases.

Question is the Versace Mule comfortable? Is the sizing true size or should I size up? I'm a USA 8.5/9, however when shoes have an open back I will size up to 9.5.

I only like the Numero Neuf Mini. Otherwise very bland bags IMO.

Your GUCCI platforms are stunning! I would definitely contact the NYC flagship store about the issue and send them in so they can rectify. They will, definitely, treat the leather. The white is ?fatty spue? Or bloom. Something happens with the leather fat (🤷🏾‍♀️ SCIENCE). Use heat. I’ve seen blowdryer on purses and it went away. Never had to try it personally, but KZread taught me how to hang a ceiling fan, 6 years later it still spins and everyone has their heads attached! Hope it helps!

Re your sandals I suspect that they are salt stains from the salt that is spread on the streets when snow is expected. It happens often. Use a 1:1 solution of white vinegar with water then polish and use leather protector. Very easy to treat once you know what it is. Simply polishing does not work.

I saw a video on the white spots in the leather of the Gucci heels. A lady just used a blow dryer. She said it’s the residual fat that settles in the leather when the temperature fluctuates. She learned it from a leather worker. And that Gucci was not able to tell her that… it’s called fatty spue or bloom hope this helps 🫶🏾 *use high heat
