Hey! Since I startet.playing hunt a couple months ago I been looking for videos.. there is not much good info out there, so I was glad I found this! Great stuff. It would be extremely dope if you would make a video about how to build a proper loadout. I dont care about the price... I wanna make a couple different loadouts with different guns to have some fun. We dont have to include consumables or tools in the video.. just how to decide weather or not a small and main weapon work well together or no. I would greatly appreciate that! Been spreading ur vid to other ppl too :) Up until I Hit prestige 11 now I only.played like 8 guns... crossbows / bow with uppercut... crown and king with uppercut...lebel and hand crossbow or martini with trueshot. Now that I wanna unlock everything I found a lot other fun guns I am good with like the lemat pistols and a couple 2 slot weapons, as well as dolch and spitfire. But I am not sure how to effectely combine them regarding ammo types/amount, range coverage and what not. A video from someone experienced would be nice 😊

This is great. Separate tier lists for main, side and melee weapons would be much more helpful Maybe even separated further - like duel weapon tier list, shotgun tier, rifle tier etc.

Where would you rate the crown flechette, uppermat doing 126 now, mako and marathon.

I think with uppercut it depends. I mainly use it with the mosin. Because while you start sprinting to leave ads after a flick before repeeking, you cannot use the bolt action. So I usually press right click, left click, weapon switch key, and then shoot with the uppercut for a quick follow-up shot. After that you are back to cover anyway so the high recoil or whatever isn‘t an issue. For this kind of play style (even more so if you preswap but I don‘t do it cause I don‘t wanna be used to it when they fix it) the uppercut outperforms all other pistols. I mean obviously that‘s a very specific scenario but since the mosin is meta, one may take this into consideration. It really depends on this specific kinda tryhard play style and moving pattern though. In this case the uppercut is not really a „pocket sniper “. It‘s more like used to fight mid/close range with the mosin uppercut loadout. obviously just my personal opinion, I don‘t claim that your tier list is „wrong“ or anything.

What do you think about katana now, when it’s 1 slot weapon?

i like what you did with the springfield compacts the only time i use them is as extra ammo for a cyclone

Dually trueshot is pretty good the spread is good and although it fires slower imo the recoil is much more controllable. Drilling handcannon hatchet has much better sway than all other medium rifles and less sway than the uppermat. By like 25 or 30% i think.

I’ve never played it so I can’t talk from experience, but isn’t the recoil for the trueshot supposed to be worse compared to the normal pax? Or does it feel more controllable because of the slower fire rate?

drilling handcannon just doesn't feel the best when shooting it. I used it exclusively for a couple days and the muzzle velocity decrease, worse shotgun option, and the sway that it has didn't impress me

​​@@khalamity2249its only the shorty drilling hatchet that has the sway decrease. Shorty drilling is the same as others. I am good with the speed but like any shorty shotgun its a fingers crossed moment. Hatchet +specter=❤

The reason why people like the Uppercut so much isn't because of the sniping potential, but rather because it can one-tap once-downed Hunters from almost double the range most shotguns can while costing a single slot and having 6 shots to fire before reloading (unlike the Sparks pistol). Also, because it is long Ammo, you can do some nasty takedowns behind walls when Bounty carriers are revived, even without FMJ (which it does have access to, in case you want to pen even more stuff, but would compromise its Muzzle Velocity). And again, because it has more than one shot, you can blind fire after the first one and either get a hit or scare the enemy into running and revealing their position.

The problem is even if we scroll to the end of the video, we can't read many of the names of the guns under the images . The text is incredibly small and often times completely cut off. People are looking for a link to a completed tier list that they can browse through themselves to see what guns are actually in the S-tier etc.@@Nydaxe​

They Buffed the sway on the deadeye sping and winy compact deadeye btw last patch... I been much more consistent with landing head shots... esp. with the high velocity ammo

Specters are more reliable to me through experience. I prefer shotguns with more than one shot.

Hunt with some variations of weapons, styles of play, distances and so on is hard to judge correctly and i think you did a pretty god job. But honestly: Springfield Marksman with HV still is a single action MEDIUM ammo, that requires more than 2 body shots over a bit more than 60 m, that being slow to reload. Vetterli is a multi-shot, same scope, only a bit slower bullet velocity with more damage. Centenial is a multi-shot, close to same damage, with a diferent scope buth even higher velocity. And also Romero. When you said the chances of a Scepter winning over a Slate... That same thing goes to Romero... It´s the highest chance to kill in any shotgun, period. Good players that REALLY knows the effective range of Romero just abuse the Alamo or Talon variations. I have a friend that basically dont use anything other than a Romero Talon and he is VERY good with that. Im a pure trash with shotguns, so my favorite is the Slate because its more consistent than Terminus at one shot and have enough reload time to perform well. Terminus in my hands basically dont know what is one shot, so i only pick with that levering. But thats me and my horrible skills with shotguns. Romero is pure trash with me using, but i know how powerfull that weapon can be in other cases, lol

I was gonna say spitfire by itself is actually a good pistol but you basically confirmed it when you said the duals was trash and your honestly right if you gonna use spitfire don't dual wield lol

IMO, is almost impossible to do a gun tierlist in this game. There are a lot of things to consider (dualies or not, traits, ammo types) Like, Springfield is a probably the best medium ammo, but if you take a Centennial with dumdum, it's so much better. Or Spectre is a really good shotgun, maybe the best one, but if you have levering then Terminus could be a better option This is why I love Hunt Showdown, it has so many options that you can get bored of it

it is hard to do a tierlist. In general, you have to make a ruleset for the tierlist in order for it to matter.

How long is the delay for deadeyed weapons

all scopes have the same delay when they implemented it. I don't know the exact delay but its under 1 second

What about katana with martialist trait? This increases the arc of the weapon considerably. And allows for sheathing which means you can insta switch and get off multiple kills without waiting for the drawing weapon animation. Surely this is more useful than the cavalry sabre which can only focus on one enemy per swipe?

the cav sabre is a one a slot weapon so it can be used in more builds and has a really quick heavy. In most cases, the cav sabre and the katana will do similar work. I still think Katana sits below it but if katana was a single slot it would outclass cav sabre

fair enough. I'm not entirely sure I agree with your logic but OK. I agree that sabre is better if your hunter doesn't have quartermaster unlocked, but this seems like a moot point since quartermaster is fairly easy to unlock once your hunter is levelled up@@khalamity2249

Why because your favourite youtuber headshot one guy in a video where he hand picked clips? If I equip a pistol, I want it to function well in close quarters, otherwise I would buy a rifle. Why waste a slot on a sub par long gun when you could just run a long gun? What playstyle possibly wants this? If you play for long range, you use long range guns.

scottfield brawler C tier and spitfire D tier makes 0 sense for real and being bad at dual wielding is not bad point then dont dual wield it some weapons are not meant to dual wield

@@khalamity2249 reliability (at least in my case). You are superior player-even choke bomb would be deadly in your hands. In my case aprox 5000+ ,5/6 star lobbies and I am founding hip fire from spectre super reliable. Especially with standard ammo. Slate with penny second (just lack of penetration) , than Crown and King. Specter also cheaper...but not sure that matters. At the end best is what you can wield best. Thans for video again

​@@michaelgromyko I commend you for being a Specter enjoyer. I'm not a fan of that weapon, in the least. If RNG isnt on my side, the Specters ROF is what gets me killed 9/10 times. Its got good range, but if you dont OHK, you're at a disadvantage. In my experiences, at least. I'm a Rival fan, all day. But, I will always choose C&K over Specter anyday.
