There are so many way to tie in peep sights, and I like to try them all! This is a new technique I've never seen anyone do before. What are your thoughts? Personally, I believe this could be the best way to tie in a peep sight.

I needed to adjust my peep up and that caused it to be rotated quite a bit...so much that it was close to 180. I took off the traditional serving style, turned the peep around and used your technique. Your tie in technique was quite easy, looks very clean, and obviously, very robust. This video was perfect for me. The outcome on the peep is fantastic. Thank you for the video.

Very good way to tie in a peep! Thanks! Never have seen it done that way! Just a suggestion...If someone wanted to secure the -- Vees you could half hitch all the way down to the desired point and then half hitch the Vees shut 6 or so times?!?! Anyway great vid 👍🏽

Dang, Man! Can't thank you enough for this video. I've been half afraid to touch my bow for fear of screwing it up. Instead- I've been paying others to screw my bow up for me. It get's downright depressing. This time- I Watched your video, used your instructions and voila! Peep is ANCHORED on that string, and wife and daughter get movie night on me (which is where my money should have gone in the first place)! Now I'm onto your video on re-setting my D-loop and tying in a serving "spacer" so that my nocks don't pinch or point up (ie, your video A HUGE MISTAKE Archers Make & EASY FIX).. Can't thank you enough. Honestly, THANK YOU!! oh, and Happy New Year.

I'm very new to the compound bow and really enjoy to see people hunt with them!... I've notice that a lot of people use the RX5 hunting because it is somewhat forgiving and very durable while keeping a decent weight!... I'm really a computer programmer by trade (Business Intelligence Developer that works in Dev-Ops for a very large top 5 Corporation). It's been a joy to see people really having fun with their bows to do target practice and real actual hunting adventures!... In fact I took the plunge just recently and bought an Hoyt RX5 Alpine because of admiring the design of the bow with forgiveness within reason. I bought Realtree Edge clothing for hunting, arrow tips that are proven to go through Elk and practice tips on 400 grain carbon arrows with inserts... Trophy Ridge Bow Sight React Pro 7 Rh... Hoyt carbon lightweight quiver and building this bad boy to do what it was intended when it comes to hunting. My point is that it is people like you that has brought me into this hobby of enjoying time with a bow while learning good tools to understand in life! Thank you for being there giving your advice with great care! This is one of the major reasons of why I chose archery at it's finest! A great addition to go with a 4x4 pickup truck! BTW: I always give my knowledge away for free and even have my own dedicated website to helping other's learn what I have over the years in Azure web development with C Sharp programming, T-SQL data structures, Cloud based technologies and have always believed that knowledge is dead if it is not passed on in life! There may be more than one way to get the results, but over time you always refine your techniques in a more direct nature because of wisdom! If SHTF, at least I will have the capabilities with what's around me to survive as the mountains are very near by! (Bellevue, WA) My appreciation goes out to you!... Thank you!!!

Hello Josh. This is interesting way to tie a peep. I will need to try it. Thank you for sharing this info. If you want this peep even more secure, wax threads with a hot glue stick prior using them for tying the peep. Wax them the same way you would do a regular waxing. So, when you tie knots, the thread will heat up because of the friction. This heat will melt the glue on the thread and fix it with the string and the peep even stronger. I use the same method for tying nocking points. It works well.

Thank you so much brother for all the information and techniques videos.... Im an avid firearms precision shooter who reloads my own ammo with close attention to details based off MY needs.... But... Recently got back into archery not that long ago, and i wanted to take the same level of attention and detail and apply it to my archery equipment as well.... I ABSOLUTELY HATE taking my bow into my local shops.... They do the work to sublevel standards just to pump the work orders off the shelves and get people out of the way.... Im just about dog tired of paying inflated prices for subpar work and then being ignore at their indoor range when im trying to discuss a problem with tuning or knock kicks, peep rotation at full draw or peep hieght adjustments..... Your videos most definately help with my becoming more self dependant and knowledgable about my archery equipment... Learning from you is starting a fire of passion into extreme precision archery, and i must say... The more work i do on my equipment and fine tuning, the more lethal my skills have become...... Ive gone from inch and a half/ 2inch groups at 30yrds (my top pin zero) with archery shops tuning and work to dime size groups with your help.... Cant thank you enough... Love your channel... Love your content... PLEEEAASE dont ever stop making videos!!!!! Haha

This method is super quick and easy, and looks like it would be faster shooting and more balanced than the way mine is tied in right now. The kid at the archery shop did a great job, but it took a long time and used a ton of serving (it's wrapped all the way up the split). I'll have to show them this, it looks just as solid and saves material.

if you use opposing half hitches( one from the top, next from the bottom, then back from the top, etc) you can keep the hitch knots in a strait ,uniform line, instead of in a spiral pattern.i use this on my gt fishing knots. perhaps you can keep it behind the edge of your bow string.i love the way you executed this.very strong.

Yeah this is probably the the most secure tie in. the weakest part of this tie in is the serving around the peep. So ofc that's where it broke for me after I was done tying, and tried to see if I could move the peep
