I was having really slow upload speed in my hotel today, but it was strange because my iPad and iPhones were uploading large videos without any problem, so I came upon your video! After the first tip with the DNS servers, the speed increased from 1.5 MB/s constant speed to 10MB/s ~ 25MB/s kinda variable speed! It’s quite impressive now! Cheers from Japan!

So, since my built-in WI-FI adapter died I'm using the external one and when it came to changing the adapter settings I did not find any of those. Send help, I'm barely downloading a single Mb per second...

This actually worked brought my downloading speed from 300 Kb/s to 6.6 MB/s thank you .

I need help My wifi when i first got this computer was 5ghz now all of a sudden its on 2.4ghz. Is it because I have network throttling disabled?

I tried this, did change to 5Ghz preference and tried all the roaming & DNS options but it actually made things slower for me. I gotta say my wifi connection is all bars up, my router is one floor upstairs and my default options where medium-low (roaming). May be because is router is far from me that medium-low works best

When you said about intel adapter, ny pc didn't matched options from there in configure where you changed those couple of options, my pc is amd based kindly help me with this

My PC is upstairs. What roaming should I put for that distance? I can't hard wire it because the room doesn't have a hook up

On my google chrome search for speed test I would be in 170mbps download. After doing everything you said, switching to the 5g option I got 282.6 mbps download. I was having a problem with my destiny 2 game and party chat till I connected my Ethernet cable in. Can’t test those things now cause no one’s up and destiny servers are down but I’ll update that later. Thank you! You have made a very noticeable difference in download and this 100% does work. Now to figure out later if my gaming related issue is resolved

wow it worked, it really made my internet speed faster, thanks bro but i have a question idk if you know the response or what so you know the game [roblox] it has something with my internet that i use, my internet speed is like 180-220 mb but when i join that game i get tons of ping, it goes sometimes to 35k and 70k or the average ping 700-3k but when i change my internet to another network the ping get better even thought the other network has only 90 or 80 internet speed, do you know why? ik maybe you don't play the game but i mean it has something to do with setting that block most the network power to the game?

Hey, I just watched the end of your video and I just wanted to share my situation with you. My mum recently just thought of getting an internet booster because the distance between the modem and my PC is ~13m. My house uses Telstra for it's internet, and the plan we use is the 5G. Since I cannot shorten the distance for other reasons, idk what to do because I the internet keeps pausing on me mid-game

Also see if you have your router set to a DNS channel and change it to a lower traffic channel. If it is a DBS then that can be interrupted frequently .

Mine does not say the Intel(R) Wireless, mine says D-Link DWA-582 , so I dont get the same drop down options as you have in this video? any ideas how to configure mine to work faster? im also working it on a PC. I was hitting 190mps & had 2 extra wifi extendors from EE toiday & have set them up in different rooms & now the mbps is down to 33mbps... Think the wifi worked better without the extra wifi extenders...
