My best advice for lines is to turn your truck tightness up pretty high. Like 70%. That will enable you to to line up your grinds with more intention rather than just waiting for the timing. Having control over your angle of approach is better than only being able to control time of the pop. You’ll be way more consistent with grinds with tighter trucks. I play with casual grinds off and tight trucks help a lot.

Low pop ollies are good for making sharp turns, as are power slides. Most of my lines don’t require being able to turn on a dime anyway, and loose trucks make high speed lines basically unachievable.

Thats why I also mention pocket poppin. Truck tightness is only one aspect of it and not everyone needs loose trucks like mine. It's not impossible to do lines at high-speed with loose trucks. Do it all the time

It's what alot of people in the community have been calling for years. Well before the game was in 1.0 it's stuck with us, cause you put your foot in pocket of the board.
