you can pop out of slappys with pushing L1 / R1, the skater will drop out of the grind. This works on basic grinds and trasition tricks aswell. :) Pretty good tips!

I skate pretty tight trucks and feels quite flowy to me. I would skate looser trucks if the game had less sensitivity when going faster. Should take more pressure to turn at speed and should not be able to turn as sharply imo. Should be more of a lean after a certain speed or something

Played it for the 1st time and bro its not easy to catch 😅 I played some skate on my 360 but this is harder. Seems like you guys go faster I find the other foot goes faster. Difficult to wrap the head around everything at once turning w/o sticks

Not sure if you mentioned it but disabling wheel bit helps you keep up speed when you turn

Thank you from France! I'm passionate about this game. I've had it for two weeks, and whenever I have free time I play it! And I'm going to play it for a long time. I didn't really like the Skate license (too Arcade on some points, and slightly sim on others, so not balanced), I played it but not passionate about it. TH's 1+2 it's nice to do them again! But it gets boring quickly. It's just fun without technique or precision. So yes, Session Skate Sim is really an incredible bomb for me. It's almost what I've been waiting for as a skateboarding game for a long time. I just regret that there isn't more haircuts (long hair, etc.) and facial hair : the character must be around 21 years old, bald if you choose a hat or cap, and otherwise, only one haircut 😅... and that the gameplay is not really adapted to Vert/Bowl. So yes... except this, big, big passion for this game [Session] Skate Sim ! I won't be picking up for a long time, that's for sure. Thank you for all the advice and tips you gave. I like using the 5050 input to get into the slappys doing a sliding tail stop works perfect for crooks and 50s also manualing after the 5050 input will still make u slappy and not ollie

When you want to steezy revert a 90 into a 180, say, frontside, do you input a frontside or a backside powerslide? I've been trying to get this right, but my character sometimes reverts in the wrong direction. Not sure what causes this, if has to do how far in the 180 do you land or maybe rotation mode (I'm on manual). Got any tips?

You can have the best of both worlds by keeping the revert settings enabled. Your way still works whether it’s disabled or not.

The majority of my settings are still the exact same, I tend not to mess with them too much once I’m happy with them. I have tweaked a few things tho and I can go over them in an “updated settings video” in the future!

This is one thing I can think of that I need help with. Revert manuals into manuals or flip into manuals on inclines while manualing backwards down the include ( like how Joey brezinski does them). They worked easier in the older versions

I think the manual, roll back into fakie manual is broken. I think it's an issue with how the game inverts your controls when you do a 180 and they didn't consider how it would effect a trick like that. I've had it work a couple of times, but then if I try to fakie flip out of it the game goes crazy and does like a heelflip animation but the board spins like a kickflip. Hopefully something they fix.

Fakie manny > Revert > Manny is possible. However the recent patch means you need to flip your manual stick the other direction at a precise time during the spin. Took some practise but I've got it pretty consistent

Yep I can talk about this in a video! I know it does work but you do have to time it perfectly, it’s not made easy that’s for sure.

When I try to pop in a other direction it won’t work

When I powerslide my character just reverts if I hold it

Dude I cannot get 3 flips to work with manual catch. Any tips? It’s not that I can’t catch them, I literally can’t flip them properly. And when I do they look like a shuv late flip. But then I turn on auto catch and I’m whipping out crispy tre’s left and right. Please help

Try flicking more vertically with the left stick, if you flick too much to the left it’ll not look right!

No matter what I try in this damn game I always fall. I'm sick of it and I give up

on the missions at FDR where you have to ride tranny, have you guys been able to grind the way she says by going into a manual and then slamming your trucks down somehow to grind... im lost when it comes to that, so i just use the powerslide revert method, but that shitndoesnt work all the time.

I have yet to reach this mission, I haven’t played the story much tbh. But I know that these lip trick techniques aren’t exactly explained the best and don’t always work as intended.

Turn it back on. His way still works with it on and you’ll be able to do manny revert with the triggers.

@@Mdnghtnoir Ik but the reason I turned it off was because it would auto revert on landings sometimes if I barely tapped trigger did they fix that?

For certain spot you’ll need to change the tightness
