I have very small ear canals and significant issues with frequent ear wax build-up. I followed your advice and bought the $40.00 video otoscope (from Amazon) that connects to my smartphone, and I absolutely love it!! I can see exactly when I need to have my ear canals cleaned out. Thanks for your description of the Ear View MD Cam. I bought one last Fall, when I was having what felt and sounded like a real blockage in one ear, but I was hesitant to arrange for a wax removal without knowing what, if anything, was really in that ear. I found the Ear View to be a great help in letting me know that I really did have some serious ear wax in that ear. I prepped myself prior to seeing my doctor with several sessions of Ear Wax MD, which, followed by irrigation by me, didn't relieve the problem, but the Dr was able to remove it pretty easily, presumably due to the pretreatment on my part. Since then, I have been checking my ears prior to any appointments, so that I can repeat the softening of wax prior to the appointment, if necessary. I have been tempted to try the little add-on ear wax removal spoons that come with the Cam, but I don't really want to take a risk of eardrum damage.

I ordered one and received it yesterday. I tried it out today and it works great. So, thanks again!

Timely video. For some reason, my FB has been bombarded with ads from Axel Glade camera and earwax removal kit. Last week my ENT removed some really large lumps of wax (and did a vacuum job in there as well). Ah, my hearing is much better now! This would be good to have as a camera to see when things are building up before they get bad, but already having one previous puncture in the ear drum (possibly from blowing my nose too hard when also having an ear infection), am definitely heading your advice not to get another!!

Thanks I really want to get a look at my ears. I had a middle ear infection in right ear and there was absolutely no wax. My left ear had wax build up but my ear wasn't irrigated because I guess there was concern with balance issues

Thanks for another great video! I’ve been thinking about making an appointment to have my heating checked, but have been hesitant to do so. At a past appointment I was told that I had to get my earwax removed before they would do the test, which was a total waste of that appointment. This device will allow me to determine that ahead of time. Furthermore, I didn’t realize that audiologists can remove earwax. I previously thought that I would have to go to an ENT for that. (I don’t like the idea of trying to do it myself.) So your video was informative in multiple ways. Thanks again :-)

I have become a little addicted to these ear wax removal videos. I've always been told that my ears are very clean and but I am so curious I am going to try one of these! Just as I stated in my comment in the One Star post to have one or more of the front desk people be trained to check for ear wax, the Eosera Ear View MD Video Otoscope would be ideal for them to be equipped with the device in that it would allow the prospective client to be shown whether or not he has an earwax issue to justify scheduling an appointment.

Great video Dr. Cliff. I have a question about ear wax and the possibility that it is causing a crackling sound in my right ear. When I listen to music at a natural volume this crackling happens. The crackling only occurs at a certain band of frequencies, the midrange to high frequencies. Is it possible that hardened wax in my ear is resonating at these frequencies and causing the crackling sound? When I insert my little finger into my ear I can feel something hard which I assume is hardened ear wax. Otherwise, my hearing in this ear does not appear to be compromised at all accept for the crackling. I will make an appointment with an ENT if you feel that this is my problem. Thank you.

Hello dr. cliff .According to the test, my ears can hear 60-65 decibels. I've been using in-ear devices for about 12 years. I had the chance to try a few hearing aids today. The devices I tried were behind-the-ear signia pure 7ax and maico aligo. I like the maico aligo more, but I have some doubts, I haven't heard of this device much and most people don't know. Do you think this device called maico aligo can fulfill my needs? Thanks.

Dr. Cliff.......... excellent presentation. I saw your video on " EarWax MD" and bought it. Just used it today...... did not notice any difference in my hearing in my right ear. Hopefully my 2nd or 3rd treatment will help. I'm watching this video because i just purchased an "ear camera" , which is similarly priced to this camera, and I can't get into "Camera mode" when I go back to the App. It says its compatible for an Android phone, but so far i can't get to the last step of the setup. Just wanted to verify this camera is compatible for my Android phone. It looks like I will have to buy this camera. **** Best wishes******

Update..... My Android phone was able to Connect to the device and the camera was Turned -On....... Happy about that. Now a few comments on this product. 1. I don't think the directions were very good.... @ It tells you to Charge the device, but it doesn't tell you what to look for when it is charging. Should the light be ON or Blinking like must other charging devices. My light was green during the 30min. I was charging it. After 30min. the light was still ON, so i assumed it was fully charged. Evidently, it wasn't becuse I only used the camera for about 10 min. and it shut down. @ The lighting inside my ear did not seem that bright. I was expecting More light for better definition of the inside of my ear. **** Just wondering why these companies can't make Bigger and Better Instruction manuals that are also easier to Read. I will keep the camera, but I would say I was expecting a Better Camera. I hope this review helps someone...

Well I dont recommend using Debrox Ear Wax Drops, I have permanent hearing damage and had to go through surgery to repair my ear drum after using two drops of that in my left ear. It was a long and terrible journey and I still have tinnitus and had to get a hearing aid. What do you recommend for cleaning ear wax. I am afraid to put anything in my ear now after this whole ordeal. My left ear drum has a small hole in it again, a year later, even after a successful surgery at Mayo Clinic.

I had a DOT physical about 3 weeks ago, the APN stated my right ear was obstructed, should I see an audiologist, or a GP.

I'm sorry I don't have any Wifi connections at my house so I guess I'll be using Walmart Supercenter stores parking lot and McDonald's parking lot for the used of their WiFi connection is that okay with you or does it not work that way ? No, it uses wifi with your phone. It will work even if you don't have wifi in your house.

Richard, you don't need a wi-fi network to use this. The wi-fi in your phone connects directly to the wi-fi in the otoscope.

Walmart Supercenter stores and department stores and McDonald's Restaurant works great for my Cellphone on Automatic Wi-Fi connection but can't connect to any other devices called for WiFi of laptops and others radio 📻 .Mine Motorola cellphone Power G is basic cellphone computer with a 11 Android .

Dr Cliff is this video out-of-date? I checked Eosera's website and Eosera no longer list the Eosera Ear View MD Video in their products. Has Eosera discontinued this product? If so, is there another Ear Viewer like product recommended?

I've always wanted to get my ears professionally cleaned out, but I'm pretty sure I have little to no earwax buildup which I'm a little surprised by considering how often I wear earphones. And I don't honestly feel like my hearing has been impacted as a result of earwax buildup either (I don't feel it's been impacted in any way really). So I'd probably be one of those people that schedules an appointment and ends up finding out they don't have anything in their ears to clean out lol. At least I wouldn't leave a one star review! Those people are dumb, but then again I also live in Phoenix so I can sympathize and I can only imagine the types of basket cases you've had come into your office 🙄

A 🐝 bee flew into my ears get it out of my Ears help me ‼️ mom can't see what inside my ears so went to the AuD Audiologist Hearing Aides dealers Center since emergency are so old and small office have no tools to remove anything out of my ears so I went to my Professional Audiologist Hearing Aides Audiologist Hearing Aides dealers Center and pulled out a live small bee not the big bee that grabbed food from flowers 🌺 .I have had ants crawling around on my head and ears working outside in the forest and yards . I go taking a shower 🚿 to remove insect 🐝🦋 🦟🐜 off of my body and ears without any tools . I used hot water and soap 🧼 .And Ear Dried drops .

I don’t know what they sent you to review, but the one I got is a piece of crap. The WiFi connection process was a joke. Once it did finally connect to my iPhone 15 pro max, the picture quality was zero. You get what you pay for. Your credibility is in the dumpster on this one. As soon as I print the shipping label, this thing is on its way back. Bye the way, the box shows a Texas company, but also says “made in China” on it. You should pull this video.
