BEST WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE GARDEN ROUTE IN SOUTH AFRICA || Power van to Mossel Bay
Today we go on an amazing train ride, on the cute little Outeniqua power van, located in George, South Africa. This forms part of the amazing Garden Route and the views that you get to experience are so breathtaking.
The Power van starts in George and the final destination is Mossel bay. Due to fires that happened in 2018, which damaged the railway, we were unable to travel the the beautiful mountain range, however had the chance to experience the coastal route, and experience the coastline from a total other perspective.
The total journey to Mossel bay takes approximately 1h30 and upon arrival you can have a nice drink in the local pub. Once you return to the station in George, you can look at the lovely museum, which houses so many different types of transportation, some dating back to the early 18th century. this is so awesome to see.

Such a wonderful train ride and the sceneries are breathtaking! After any kind of commute a quick drink always helps! Hahaha bloopers is my favorite part!
It looks like such a relaxing train ride. I'd for sure fall asleep with the rocking motion. The scenery is lovely though. Oh your bloopers 🤣 they get me every time.

The rocking on the train really put your video stabilization to work! Your video footage fron the train still turned out great though. The ride had such a nice variety of scenery. Especially love the view from the bridge and of the coastline.

The scenery on the train ride is gorgeous! Beautiful mountain and coastal views. And I love it when the train crosses the bridges and you can see the streams and rivers below. The transportation museum is really cool too! Very neat to see old ambulances and carriages. 😊

Wow. That place is really nice for just $27 USD 😳😳 Also you know you are in an incredible place when you say “so we won’t be going through the mountains, but will have to take the beach route..” hahaha our nearest mountains are 10 hours away and our nearest beach is like 20....

You were anything but in Mossel Bay, at your stop-over, which both of you mentioned, but a place called Great Brak oor Grootbrak. Even the big station sign mentions the name. No the place well. Quite far from Mossel Bay.
