For chunky glitter it's also advised to do a pour over on the first layer, that way you get all the small glitters on the nail. Then lay nail flat like you did for the second layer. So much easier for beginners and the nail does not get too bulky.

Thank you!! Dip seems so intimidating to me for some reason and I have a chunky glitter dip coming in. Can we use tips with dip powder or is it not strong enough?

@@corninyourpoop Yes. I use tips with dip powder and I actually feel like my dip nails last longer when I use tips. Just make sure to file them a bit to reduce thickness at the tips of the nails....I also use NAILENE glue cause it's the strongest nail glue I have ever used and they stay on for 2 weeks or longer.

@@CynCityNails omg thank you for replying and giving me tips.. on tips 😂 I'll put that Nailene glue in my cart! I'm actually shocked how affordable that glue is! I've been giving my natural nails a break after doing the Amazon version of gel x, but the dip sounds "healthier" for my nails. Hope you have a blessed and happy Easter weekend ✝️

I absolutely LOVE chunky glitter!!! I stopped going to my favorite nail salon because they were disrespectful and inconsistent. Never found another place that had a good selection of chunky glitter so decided to invest in product and do myself rather than paying $60 a pop.

Hi, I am new at doing my nails with gels. I have chunky holographic glitter. Is this what turns into that Chrome?

For chunky glitter nails.. first go in with a sparkling color acrylic then only one dip with the glitter. Two is too much with that chunky stuff.

How do you remove that chunky glitter? Must take FOREVER.... 🤔🐾🐐🦩🌴

I've only had to do it once because I'm a novice, but! It actually didn't take me that long. I filed the nails to break the gel top coat seal, and then i heated up a glass bowl full of water. I poured pure acetone into a ziplock bag, and dropped in a few cotton balls. Then I placed the zip lock bag into the bowl of hot water, and soaked my hand in it while keeping the top of the bag as sealed as possible. After a few minutes, I used the cotton balls to begin to remove the glitter and polish. I think each hand took me like 10- 15 minutes, which was a lot faster than I thought it'd be.
