Please know that most of the projects I do on this channel were not originally created by me. I'm either using templates I find online or taking inspiration from awesome watercolor artists. I do not sell any of the art I make, I'm merely trying to help you improve and, when you're starting out, taking inspiration from other artists to train really is the best way to go.

I would say it depends. If you have the money for it, if watercolor painting is something you're really invested in and even make a living out of it, by all means, go all out on an Artist/Professional grade watercolor set. Personally, I can't possibly afford or justify shelling out 14€ for a single tube of paint (Daniel Smith), when I can grab some cheap Van Gogh for 3,50€ a piece. But hey, to each their own and that's the beauty of things. 🥰
I’ve always been happy with my little Cotman set. I also use DaVinci and Kuretaki and Daniel Smith but still really like the Cotman set.

I've never tried da Vinci but I absolutely love all my Kuretake colors 😀
Thank you for making this video! I just bought the whole cotman line and some of their professional line which i intend on buying more of too but the cotman I like in the meantime to supplement it

@@amandacimarossa5214 I'll definitely have to look into trying more colors, even though I find this small set really preactical

@@sandyowncrafts Ok on my list 😊👍
Spread and control is one character where artists are almost equally divided. At this point it's generally accepted that it's a matter of personal taste. The spread test should be a draw.

Thank you for your input. I'm finding out more and more that most things in watercolors are a matter or personal taste hehehe which makes sense, it's art, it's supposed to be personal and everything is acceptable. Have a great day!
Why this irritating, loud music? Stopped watching half-way because it is so annoying.
