Excellent presentation, and great information as far as volume still learning how to read that volume for a trend change it's not easy but very helpful and the only part of the chart that is in present and not manipulated... The explanation of the last example is completely wrong. Gap candle happens because of stop losses of short sellers trapped in a downleg before the breakout, not buyers pulling their orders expecting more profits, stops are by far the stronger force here, it's not even close. Bigger institutional players (not market makers, those are different entities completely) know where stops are and will move the market there, if they have the means and deem it +EV for them, they too very often fumble and lose money on those plays. In this particular example they bought low to send it higher, which triggered stops that they sold into. Later on, there's a retest of trapped short traders that don't use stop losses but got the opportunity to close manually and it's mostly them that are the cause of the bounce.

They don’t know where the stops are they are just good at understanding where they should be. They have NO way of seeing actual stops as stops don’t show up on the DOM only limit and market. They understand delta. Stops triggered aren’t stronger because it still hits time and sales as bid or ask orders. Not “stops”. That’s completely false

@@Kloutkulture You're right they generally don't have access to that data, but they just understand where the masses put their stops. So they know how to position themselves with limits. But I can tell you there's some shady stuff going on behind the scenes on some markets. Data being sold for a lot of bucks under the counter. I wonder what kind of data.

I'm not agreeing with the original argument as the market is drawn to liquidity and if your stop (Most platforms I have used (NinjaTrader, Quantower, Tradeovate) label them as "Stop limit") happens to be there then you get knocked out of the trade as the markets main job is to service the orders that are presented to it. Not that anyone outside of ourselves cares about our 1-15 lot Stop losses. My point is, the market is not out to get you
