@MarcFireHart the character Ben plays in the "rekt' series. That character is only in that series. He is my favorite character Ben plays. Anyone who has not seen Rekt needs to asap. There is a Playlist for it.

Fireheart episode is one of my favourite ones. The amount of emotion expressed and the pain that you can see in Ben's face is absolutely breathtaking. I honestly think that Ben's a great actor and that was his best perfomance yet.

The death knight sketch continues to be one of the most oddly wholesome. It's basically Beauty and the Beast, but I love it. Baelin's reaction with the fish was perfect.

Damn, Fireheart really got me. Superb acting by Ben, though. Great job! And Rowan being unaware he's a married man and a father had me in stitches.

Every single cast member, from the core team to the recurring folks, is gold. Not to mention all of the amazing work that the behind-the-scenes staff put in. All of them make VLDL so great. Here's to even further success in 2024. Whoo!

I don't know when or how I found VLDL but they have become my absolute favorite channel. Their quality, multi talented cast, writing, and production value is all through the roof. I would argue they make better stuff than 99% of Hollywood. I laugh, tear up, get angry, get excited and I even get invested in characters! Thanks so much for your amazing content guys.

There's a reason I love VLDL, and this compilation is the perfect summary. I have a particular fondness for Ben. He's a brilliant artist, in more ways than one. Thanks, !

I thought the same when I first saw the skit, viva has a perk on patreon that a certain tier gets entered into a lottery, and whoever wins has their names in a skit. I've seen a person on discord with the name Fireheart, so I assume they entered their name and got chosen for this skit.

Greg´s wife and Fireheart always get me. Such wholesome yet heartbreaking skits. I really hope to see more of Gronkboy and Fireheart, and finally a patch that will re-add Greta permanently.

The sad thing is there are people who really are like Fireheart, its a skit that kinda hits close to home for me, I at one point used video games as a form of escape and I was the character I played, I'd not be as vocal as Fireheart but I was very much like him in wanting someone to be friends with or talk to

Thank you for including the Fireheart skit ❤ I remember when I saw it the first time, I was laughing so hard already because I was so happy to see that character again but when Fireheart suddenly started talking about Ben I chocked up because it reminded me so much of myself. But at the end I was laughing again though I still had the tears in my eyes. Such a rollercoaster 💙

"Wife Update" was probably the most heartbreaking comedy skit in history.

Rowan kidnapping Greg's wife from the Epic NPC Man universe is the best crossover I have ever seen. I wonder how many adventurers have received the quest to search for her.

My faves are all the mushroom sketches, so great. Btw Rowan is so lucky to have a great friend and flatmate like Claire.

I find it really endearing that they would put Blue Zone Addict at the end of the would-be most viewed compilation video of this year so that they could include the "Don't do drugs" plea. My respect for this crew is just astronomical at this point.

Imagine Rowan still getting the store manager job even after screaming "you betrayed me father" in front of them so many times.

Epic NPC man definitely had much more amazing skits in 2023. It's a pity there isn't enough space for all of them :) I think it was awesome year for you! ❤💙

17:30 putting a mug, especially without a coaster, on top of your MacBook is OUTRAGEOUS.

I love how great the environment and props are now. You won't really notice the difference but take a closer look and them swords and stuff are looking nice and clean.

Sometimes, I am surprised by how good the acting is on this channel.

Just a great group of friends that just so happen to be great actors as well!

Oh man that human sized mouse skitch has me on the floor every time. Totally forgot the infinite muggers loop was last year, loved that one with Gregg taking his 1 gold share for his services. And Gregg's wife pulls the feels every single time. Fireheart also was one of the most surprising skits from last year, really felt like a different style video but beautifully handled and carefully crafted to deliver a lovely mental health message. 2023 was a great year!

Death Knight is what B.O.B. from NPC D&D will turn into if they fail.

Ben is such a great actor, to be able to go from rugged and gruff manly man to flamboyant homosexual in the blink of an eye and actually make it a hundred percent and more convincing is some real skill. Very very talented, wouldn’t be surprised to see him in an actual movie in the theaters one day. I believe he’s that good.

You know a male player has never been married when he says to a female player, "What are you doing outside the kitchen?" Any wise man knows that in the kitchen is where she keeps the knives and other weighty throwable things.

Fireheart is such a relatable character and to see him open up like that makes me feel like anyone can who's in that situation. Thank you Fireheart!!!

I still want to see the aftermath of Fireheart gaining a friend - that skit was so touching but I bet there's a lot more that could come from that injection!

"I'm ever so swift and nifty!" is my new catch phrase. I said it to my 82 year old neighbor this morning when she asked me if I was okay and afterwards she made a face and told me she didn't want me to pet her cat anymore (not a euphemism). Also, those two females never did explain what they were doing out of the kitchen. Kicking ass I suppose would be the obvious answer, but ass kickery does not a pie make.

Can we get a shoutout to Ben? Like, SO many of these hinged on his acting abilities! Ben, VLDL Best Actor of 2023!

Still waiting for a Baelins Journey style epic featuring Greg as he is Awakening to the reality of him being an NPC and seeking out his wife. Potentially a portal from Barradoon(sp) sending him into the real world and he finds the developers and using his garlic, a Fashions some potion to convince the developers to change the code bringing his wife and child back to Honeywood.

I've seen many of these but not all of them. I'm glad I saw this video to catch up. You guys are amazing.

You all are awesome! Love the work you put in, the attention to detail, the quality of the performance, every bit. I always am looking forward to seeing something new from VLDL in my feed.

In the 'Greg's Wife' episode one of the updates was to make Baradun even more attractive.

4:35 when you look at this from the viewpoint that Adam is lowkey mocking Rowan for his assassin class choice, it makes that skit even fu nicer because as I first watched this one, I looked at it that Adam was legit being encouraging to Rowan. But to see it that he's just low key basjing him, it's like so much more funnier.😂
