You just blew my mind with this. I've only had the R7 a month or so, but I didn't realise it should shoot in CLOG. Video isn't my main thing, so I've mostly been focusing on stills. But I hadn't seen any option for CLOG, so assumed it wasn't capable. It is an enthusiast level body after all. Then I saw you set it, played around and realised you get a whole bunch of different menu options when the camera is actively set to video mode while in the settings... 🤦

what setting do you suggest for music live ? I will have both day light and dark interior cases I'm afraid with the stutter effect when panning/rotating so I'm used to film in 50fps but I will try your 30fps advice thanks
In photo mode, you can choose between sRGB and AdobeRGB color spaces. Does this setting carry over to the video mode? If not, how is the color space set in video mode? Thanks
Another killer vid! Why do you shoot in Cinema Gamut and not BT.709

Cinema Gamut gives us more color options than Rec.709 does. It makes it easier to match to other cameras in post!
