Austria 2018 made a massive impression on me because of his riding style. The renowed king smoothness and consistency is found bullying that red Ducati into the apex of every corner, weaving and shaking all over the place - an incredible sight coming from him. He REALLY wanted that one. That defense on the corner's outside was the icing on the cake.

Smooth,reserved & consistently pushing the limits, a unique riding style a relentless pace, 99 is a rare talent!! Thank you Jorge!!

From this 2 sequences, we can see that only lorenzo can consistently fight marc vice versa, except this season

08:55 Lorenzo made exactly the same move (basically no-sense for anyone having experience of Mugello), from Correntaio to Biondetti, against De Angelis in 2005 Mugello GP of 250 class, to get his 2nd position finishing behind Dani Pedrosa. That's a move only him can make, needing exaggerated speed to come out from Correntaio, go around opponent (making more road) and then put in. Was able to do this cause the main trait of his riding style is cornering speed at apex, that lets him to find alternative lines in exit. The fact is with a 4 strokes bike the move can't be closed perfectly (in fact Jorge lost flow and Marc passed again), whilst with a 2 strokes you can (Jorge passed De Angelis with no chance for him to overtake again).

Nobody ever gave Jorge the credit he deserved.... when he was in Yamaha winning championships, everyone was still all over Rossi... when he was in Ducati no one listened and prefferred Petrucci on his bike... that suuuuurely paid off xP Pretty sure Lorenzo on Ducati would have fought better than Dovizioso for the championship

Its not for Lorenzo to blame !!! Marquez is the reason for Rossi losing his 10th title in a dramatic way . Jorge always wanted Rossi to battle him in the final race at Valencia & he wished him to be crowned champion after beating Rossi in a head on battle .

If the bike suits him means if his setup is good, if his suspension settings are good, if his rake and trail adjustments are correct for a particular track, etc. Your statement proves you haven't had any track days, and you're not an experienced rider at all. If a bike setup is not good, its very hard to put in a good laptime even in small displacement bikes. At MotoGP level where the competition is for hundreths of a second, yes, the bike setup has to be perfect. A rider cannot just go out on track with a standard setup and expect to win. It would be impossible. Don't reply to further prove your ignorance.

I think Lorenzo's career-best wins are anytime he beats Dani Pedrosa into 50s because that was the toughest races besides when he had to go up against Valentino I'm glad I saw at least a 25 in here somewhere also Lorenzo is so beastman you can't even believe how fast he is in real life it's hard to not like them I'm from the states and I've seen him in Indianapolis and I know that they all leave about the same time but after two laps he's got half a lap on everybody even at Circuit of the Americas but it wasn't the same there even though he's more whiny then Max Biaggi the score will definitely miss him
