Looking into getting a Volvo wagon. However let me share my car camping experience. I've camped in both a Mercury Grand Marquis, a truck, compact car and a box truck. My advice? Invest in a portable AC, a standing one and put it on a weather tech floor liner. One can fit comfortably between the seats in a gap if you are so willing to sacrifice. Run the hose to a Tupperware, you will need to change it every so often. Take the exhaust vent and you'll have to custom make a deal. In the truck I had, I had it going out the front window of the camper top. In my Mercury, a big American sedan, I had it going out the passenger side window. If you have a sunroof, consider having it vent that way Simply run an extension cord to a camp hook up and live in good AC, no cutting or modifying needed. Just make sure to dump the water out every time you use it. I've used this set up for years and when I trade this compact, I plan to do the same to my future Volvo wagon or city cargo van. With the cargo, no doubt I can cut a hole in the floor instead of using a window. The air will vent out underneath the van.

Rust holes near rear mud flaps. Soak entire underside with Fluid Film and further rust will not happen.

@@jerbear7952 Very true indeed. I've done this very thing, and have the results to prove it. Annual saturation with Fluid Film prevents rust.

i would line the trashcan with the plastic bags all the time to keep the trash can from getting gross i would be concerned with the plastic water bottles leaching in warm/hot climates
