It is my dream to come to AZ and become a nomad. I am 63 years old with no retirement and the cost of living has gotten to the point that I don't think I can survive. I just want to get in my Toyota RAV4 and head that way. Plus, I hate the winter weather in Ohio. The older I get, the harder it gets. Everybody in my family is giving me a hard time about doing this, but I am so fed up that I just may be gone one morning and headed to AZ. Bob, you have been a wealth of information and I love watching your videos. I know that this is doable for me, because I have watched all your videos of older ladies like myself doing this. You give me hope.

Why don’t you just go out there for a visit? I can always go back, but go out in the winter so you avoid some of that Ohio winter and get some of the great Arizona winter. I’m Joe Glenn, from phoenix Arizona I love the desert. I hope it goes well for you.

It's my 6th year coming to Quartzsite. I like the fact that it's a small town that has a lot of infrastructure to support RV lifestyle. It's an RVer's paradise. You can meet so many other RV enthusiasts. Lots of friendly people. On another note I was in Parker AZ and had a heart attack. Went to the tiny hospital in Parker and their heart team was top notch. They had me prepped for flight and flew me to lake Havasu for a stent. 45 minutes from walking into Parker hospital and being in the recovery room in lake Havasu hospital. Incredible and I'm still alive.

The magic circle ,no clothes area is the cleanest ? why ? they care an like the outside areas, some friends of mine there camper broke down on the road next to magic circle, within 10 minutes 2 guys drove up in a jeep inquiring if they needed help, yes they did ,an the 2 guys said we will help but have no clothes on, no problem an within an hr they were up an moving.So whatever your comfort level is ,be friendly ,help others,be a good neighbor.

How about a video on Quartzsite's local private, owned businesses that are open year round? These businesses have really been struggling since the pandemic and could use all the help they can get. There is Papas hot dog's, Reader's Oasis, the craft store and so many more. Quartzsite is an awesome place.

Bob, you have helped me to figure out how to live in a way that I never thought I could. I have traveled across the entire country in the past two years; NY to CO to CA and all the way up to WA and then back down to OR 🥳 It was just me and my 40-year old travel trailer. I watched Nomadland over and over, powering my TV and everything else with solar. I learned much about this from you. Renogy solar panels were tougher to get in 2020! During that time traveling alone, I have seen more beautiful places and met more helpful people than I thought would be possible in an entire lifetime. I was scared in the beginning. I wasn’t sure where to go, how to get there, or what to do once I got there. But I made it all the way to the Pacific Ocean, and I owe much of the success of that adventure to you, your channel, and the wealth of knowledge and support that you provide for us. I know I will have a chance to meet you one day, and to say thank you in person.

That was such an encouraging message! Right now I am sitting in the parking lot of my trailer fix-it place. Everything about selling my house, moving out, has been complicated so I am not sure yet when.I will get to Quartzite but hopefully sometime in November. Like you, I am scared as I am 79 and (while happily alone) unsure of what lies ahead. But Bob and the nomad community have been so kind and encouraging and I am so excited to get there.

NEVER exit I-10 from exit 17! You could be stuck for an hour just to turn. Always exit 19 then figure out where you want to go.

Arizona was supposed to upgrade both overpasses to 4 lanes, they did Exit 19 first because it was easiest then ran out of money before they could rebuild Exit 17.

Any tips on where to stay to stay away from the crowds

I love your enthusiasm. But six hours south is the beach at San Carlos in Mexico. Free camping, decent weather, cheap prices, not many people. Just get over your fear of Mexico.

I found that Imperial Dam LTVA is way more convenient, hot showers, flush toilets,mail and package delivery at the christen service center, propane, water,trash, Yuma is only 20 miles away, everything you need, there are two lakes on the LTVA, colorado river is right there, the weather is a few degrees warmer during the winter months ,and its Less crowded🌞😁😎

My DREAM is to kick off my revived nomad adventure here in Quartsite. I’ve visited on travels passing through but never stayed. I’m looking at a converted shuttle bus next week and have been training my big puppies to travel. It’s been a year since I lost my husband and I know he’d want me to succeed. Never wanted anything more than this. Nothing has ever been more of a pivotal point in my life. THANK YOU Bob!

Welcome to Quartzsite hope you find what you need to get your adventure started. If you have dogs maybe I'll see you at the dog park in Quartzsite. There's a group that meet there late mornings 10am or so? Anyway best wishes in Quartzsite.

Just stock up on canned goods and maybe rice, oats and dry foods before you go there… get instant foods. Then you can just buy fresh meat and fruit and vegetables once in a while in quartzite…

Did Quartzsite and it has its positive points. But I've found a better location. Nearer Yuma. And Yuma has a VA outpatient clinic. And a huge selection of stores so everything is competitively priced. And I can get a hot shower for a buck. And be on the Colorado River. And traffic is nil especially compared to Quartzsite. I'll always visit Quartzsite but I won't stay long as it's packed, heavy traffic, and costly. I think my pass was 80 bucks last year for LTVA too. Trees, shade, wind protection and on the water for less.

Hi Bob I went to Quartzite last year to be on the safe side I shopped heavy before I got there I forgot trash bags and people that camped near us forgot toilet paper so we traded and kept out of the stores. People were really helpful and a few people got together and did shopping for others instead of everyone that needed something gave a list and it was easier that way when they came back got their items. For standing in long lines people others fixed them food so they could back and relax and not have to cook. We also had a pot luck barbeque that was the envy of a lot of others. Strangers coming together to make things happen was really nice plus people helped others fix up their vans. I was planning to go this year and have already made contact with people and plan to repeat our fun and camp near each other again. Its a experience every nomad should have at least 1x.

Thanks for info, Martha! I’m a newbie, have made my maiden voyage from Austin to Albuquerque to El Paso back to Austin last Sep-Oct. Learned much, much more to learn. I have little 14’ pull behind. Looking to go to Quartzite this January. Hoping to meet people, maybe find a caravan group going to Alaska in Spring so I’m not totally alone (with two cats) thru Canada. I lived in Alaska 8 yrs so know my favorite places. Maybe we’ll meet at Quartzite!😊

I sit up here in my CRV RV in chilly Oregon drinking my morning tea and wondering which route to take the desert.....Suddenly Bob pops up on You Tube reminding me I'm not alone out here and it's time to head South! After 4 years on the road full time in the CRV RD1 it is time to hit the Quartzite trail......Thanks to all the Nomads, especially Bob. Keep on rolling.... 😎🌎❤

One more thing to be aware of: the water. The tap water is bad and you’ll need to visit somewhere around town to pay for good drinking water.

It's so clear outside at night. You can see those beautiful stars in the sky, so easily. I love that about Quartzsite.

I really like Quartzsite, passed through there on my way to see alcatraz prison years ago, I loved it, it is a flea market city, a town and world for free spirited gypsies. If you are a free spirited person, you will love Quartzsite, AR. The weather is great. It is a heaven on earth for folks who live in their vehicles.

My Dad and I would meet my Uncle and his wife for a week out there. The multiple huge Swap Meets there were fantastic. I brought my Moped and that was the best way to get around. Happy Memories.

You forgot to mention you can do your laundry at a few places and ice! Also that there is a local food bank in Quartzsite for those in need and Carol's Closet next door which is part of the Quartzite Food Bank. It is a free Thrift Shop that provides clothing, bedding, kitchen items, toiletries, dog and cat food and miscellaneous. They accept donations as well.

It’s worth mentioning that there is a small but decent hospital in Parker, along with a CVS.

There is a small hospital but I'd never say it's decent. I had to use that place last winter and it was the worse medical experience of my life. Very understaffed. I left there with my issue unresolved and decided that I would rather bleed out in the desert than go back.

That hospital was a critical plus for me almost two years ago. I slipped and fell during my first time staying at the LTVA, earning myself a big bleeding gash on my forehead. Had to drive at dusk all the way to Parker by myself, but the staff stitched me up and made sure I was ok. Glad they were there!

so thrilled its back in Quartzsite. On a side note, I have been travelling full-time in my RV for 5 years now. I started watching your channel, when I got sick and was stuck in an apartment. watching my life pass me by, and my savings disappearing. My life took a 180 degree turn, I never had so much fun or met so many amazing people, than I did at the RTR. I will forever be grateful, for your inspiration . Thank you Bob

The one thing not mentioned is the mail. As a three year resident of Quartzite I would like to bring that to attention. The mail can be a challenge and the post office gets overwhelmed and packages get lost.

Ya forgot the townspeople! Same friendly faces every year. Great place to learn something new. Rock and gem club, line dancing , music on every corner, craft classes galore, pickle ball, great dog park. If you can't find something to do in Q ... you ain't tryin'. 😉

Bob, you keep saying it costs $180 to stay in the LTVAs. They also sell renewable two week passes for $40, so if you think you'll stay less than 8 weeks it's cheaper to get the 2 week passes. Both the 2 week and seasonal passes are good in any of the LTVAs so you can go from one to another if you want.

I'm not an RVer any more, but I love watching your videos. They're entertaining, they're informative, and best of all they're POSITIVE. Even as you presented the negative reasons, you found hidden positives in each one. Keep up the good work!!

I think you pretty much covered it! I’m starting my second winter in Quartzsite and it’s exactly like you said. One thing you didn’t mention is that if you’re a digital nomad (like us), cellular data becomes pretty much unusable when the place gets busy. There’s just too many people for the limited towers to handle. There’s a local internet provider, FastNet, that works well and is around the same cost as a hotspot plan except you can suspend it and pay nothing when you’re not here. I used it with great success last year. Now I have Starlink, so we’ll see how well that works once the place fills up. Reports say it worked well at Sturgis, so I’m cautiously optimistic.

That's a great point you made of driving back and forth to Parker and quartzite, only 90 miles a month. Nice perspectives.

I spent my first winter in Quartzsite last year and fell in love with it. If I could stay all year, I would. You didn't mention the fantastic dog park for us dog parents 😉. You need to be aware as there are coyotes so have your pets in by evening and never unattended. But it's a great lifestyle down there for us nomads. I'll be down next week and I'm so excited!

Never leave your pets unattended is a big one. Those coyotes can be hunkered down just watching and waiting to snatch your little pets. I know from experience. 😢

Stayed all last winter no problems with Coyotes...within the first two days this year, a coyote came up to my car and my dog leaped out my window and chased it for two miles! Amen he didn't get attacked but WOW definitely beware! They are to comfortable with humans here!

I love your program thanks. Advice for cold, - buy a shower curtain, the dollar store is probably the cheapest place to find them, sew the inner plastic sheet, in into your blanket or sheet, if you also put it over your sleeping cushion you can keep your body heat in. If you already cover your windows anyway so people can't see in, you can also put one along the interior as added insulation, front to back & side to side.

This is our 4th year coming to Quartzsite. We live in our van and a small trailer (thank you, Bob, for all the videos we watched in upstate NY to prep us for this). We stay in an RV Park where my husband got a job as a handyman ( this pays for our site). We go up north for the summer and come down here for the winter. Great life!

First timer, and I arrived in Quartzsite A couple days ago. No crowds yet, beautiful weather and the laundromat with showers & espresso is terrific! I'm at the LTVA...met up with some friends out here. Very peaceful now with gorgeous sunsets. I like the town...and friendly people. Enjoying it here very much. I haven't experienced the crowds yet. I went to the Q last November and spent a couple nights a the HOWAa caravans.. it was a life changing experience… there are community’s out there… I found most people to be friendly and helpful.. but don’t over extend yourself trying to help someone you just met… people will come n go..

It’s September of 2023 now and I’m looking forward to my 3rd RTR !!! The other two were wonderful and I just wish they had them at more places and times. I have never believed in anything more in my life than these videos, these events, these people and HOWA (Homes on Wheels Alliance). Bob tells you the cons and you can measure for yourself on any given idea or notion that Bob explains and on most of what he says is true. I have different ideas because I’m a different person. Bob just changed my life for the better.

I spent a winter at one of the LTVA's, specifically La Posa South, a couple years ago.At the time, I was living out of my van conversion, an elderly woman with a dog, hoping to find a great place to winter. Everything you said is true, in my experience. The LTVA's are great because you can boondock with benefits: drinkable water from several spigots, big dumpsters, dump station for black tanks, and pit toilets in at least some of the LTVA's. La Posa South has all the above amenities. I loved the fun, flea market vibe of the town. I'd go to Blythe occasionally to Smart & Final, Safeway, Dollar Tree, great Mexican food. Parker is nice with its WalMart, Safeway and great Mexican food. During the "Big Tent" and RV show, I just avoided the more congested areas of town. That only lasts a few weeks as I recall, then it's back to a nicer pace in town. For new nomads, I think Quartzsite is a great place to spend your first winter.

Hmmmm I live in Az and when I think of Quartzsite, I think flat, bleak windswept camping and a thousands of silver Airstreamers. LOL However, your vid here helped paint a better picture. It got me thinking now, especially the proximity of the Colorado River & fishing. Good job and do more of these type videos :-)

Thank you for another informative video. Pricey is a matter of perspective. Like any town that has to survive 12 months on 3 to 4 months of business, Quartzite merchants do what they had to to be there next year. I never really get upset at paying over inflated prices in places like that. We hope to get out there this January in our older full sized class b. Thank you for making these videos.

Well, I've been to Quartzsite once for a month in the wintertime. I think Yuma is the best place to get supplies or even restock. Just getting to a Sams club or a not so crowded walmart is Yuma. I always stop in yuma before heading up to quartzsite. Stock up at sams or wallmart and get the cheaper sams gas. The thing about the LTVA, is that it's full of critters like mice because pack rats/mice have easy access to where humans are. Anyway, I picked up two mice in my van. So bring mice traps. :) Haven't experienced an RTR yet, maybe this time. Yuma also haa home depots and lowes. So, pretty much everything you might need. It will be interesting to see if the crowds are less because of gas prices.

I am contemplating new directions after my recent divorce and Quartzite is on my radar. So I just found your Channel and this was the 1st video I watched and OMG I'm so glad you listened to your intuition! I'm really glad you're safe!

Well, I am old Desert Rat myself, who has worked as an Archaeologists in the Mojave, AZ, Sonoran and Great Basin deserts, for nearly 40 years. I envy the RV people, as I was usually in a Tent or cheap motel. The Desert is beautiful but it is also brutal in the Summer and Winter, and yes I have been to Quartzite many times.

A new video from @CheapRVLiving always lifts my spirits.

Don't know why I'm watching this because I live in Australia but it does make me want to get on the road again.

Was in Quartzsite first part of Feb this year. Everything Bob said is true both good and bad. If you're looking for solitude and quiet close in to town, forget it. The constant noise can be a bit overwhelming. Having said that I will be heading there again but maybe a little further out of town.

Please, when you tout the free WiFi at the local eatery’s strongly suggest that folks purchase a meal. It’s not cool just to take up space. Thank you

A huge reason to visit might be, Quartzsite's original reason for being a gathering place was, the big gem and mineral show they hold there in the winter. If you're a "rock hound" it's not to be missed, and if you're not, you might become one.

Had to chuckle when you mentioned Minnesota, I'm a Minnesota girl and I'll take a MN snow storm over an AZ sand storm! I've been in both. :-) Quartzite is on my list for 2023.

If you are an artist or craftsman. you can spend the summers in the cool country making your art, then you go to Quartzsite in the winter and sell your stuff.

I can't wait until I'm out there in retirement as a part-time RVer. I'm definitely looking forward to experiencing this. Love your content and messaging. Young people need to consider if living the rat race for the so-called nearly unattainable American Dream is worth 65 years of their lives, and instead, explore these alternative living options.

Last "real" RTR in 2019 I intentionally got there the second day because I'd heard of the traffic getting in and didn't hit any traffic the second day. Of course this meant I missed first day orientation and the crew filming the movie "Nomadland"

I'm in Minnesota all year round and winters can be fun. I ride my studded tire fat bike or go cross country skiing and heck I even love running my snowblower. My campervan will sit in my insulated and heated garage all winter so I don't have to worry about mice or packrats getting in. I can also work on some projects I put off during the summer.

If you cannot afford the LTA sites, free BLM camping IS EXPENSIVE!!! i went as first year van dweller 2021, i could not afford an LTA, so cost of living added up to $50++ aweek to have water, rv dump, ice, propane/butane for cook stove.. not to mention WIND @ 40+ mpg constantly.... Being an Oregonian, i missed the trees & minimal wind....

It was 27 degrees my first morning at Dome Rock in Quartzsite. Do come prepared with good warm clothes and bedding! Once the sun’s up, it’s generally comfortable. Blythe also has an Albertsons.

Seven reasons Why you might want to go 1)Community, feels good, not out of place, people just like you, add RTR to that 2) You can get a job (more so October to Feb.) 3) Fantastic camping, can be crowded at time -LTVA $180 for seven months, very good deal 4) Set up for RVers (water, propane, trash, free wifi all over town, library, showers available) 5) Super easy access, 6) Pretty central to other stuff, close to Yuma, Los Agodones, Parker, Lake Havasu 7) Fast food ( a big plus to Bob), nice shopping, big tents for Three reasons why not 1) Is very busy, trafic 2) Shopping in town not so good, can be expensive for some items-good selection of meat though 3) Weather, can be cold. Also windstorms, flash flooding is possible

Don't forget all the wholesale rocks, desert excursions, Silly Al's, and the yacht club.

We wouldn't miss Quartzsite for the world. We love it there. Great way to reconnect with friends sitting around the many bonfires. It is very beautiful and peaceful to camp in the outskirts. It gives us an opportunity to be around folks as much of the year our adventure van takes us far away from civilization. Thanks Bob!

The ONLY thing I can say about Quartzsite, that is bad is, The Winds! They are brutal. Otherwise I love it there. The comrades we meet. Great back stories, and a few things to do. We have met quite a few great people. Just leave your politics at home!

Excellent list, Bob!! Quartzite is a great place for new nomads. It was a great place for me to work out the kinks of nomads life. You have lots of people there just like you who support you, offer ideas to solve problems you run into when you're just starting out. I highly recommend Quartzite for those just starting out. If this is your first year as a nomad, Quartzite will be a wonderful jumping off point. Thank you for all you do!!!!

We prefer the Yuma area - they have Sprouts Grocery for those of us who enjoy healthy foods and a truck stop that accepts the TSD fuel discount program.

Thanks, Bob. Good to know, especially about the jobs. For those interested, especially those in smaller rigs, might you do a video detailing how to actually get around out there in that desert. I journeyed to Ehrenberg, several years ago, and some of the roads were quite treacherous, so I didn’t venture out as far as I had wanted. It Is intimidating for anybody, never traveling there before, and especially for some with bigger rigs, but also very challenging for those who roll in cars and such, and a basic review of road conditions, that are passable and impassable, (or maybe even impossible for my tiny rolling egg..lol), in and around those beautiful areas, would sure be helpful. Additionally, info on roads that are effected by weather conditions, annually and regularly, would also be very useful for many. Thanks for all you do to help those who wish to roll and live freely about the country.

When driving around looking for a good camp spot, watch out for hard-packed sand that suddenly turns into deep, soft sand. And carry recovery boards to stuff under your tires so you can back out of the soft spots!

@@jr.6199 thank you for your informative response, however, I am not on the road anymore, hence my inquisitive questions regarding the environmental conditions previously when I was rolling. I ask this of Bob because he is Bob, ya know, and one of the seasoned people who help those that are on the road or contemplating a return, like I was, and possibly still am. I understand giving back, but being a woman on the road, once or possibly in the future, many women do see hazards in giving locations and such, as is the reason why the RTR wouldn’t allow filming there. I was simply asking of things that only someone who kicked around Quartzsite would know, like don’t go down that road, as it almost always washes out every year…that sort of thing, clearly nature erodes everything, especially one’s desire to even ask questions, sometimes…lol. If I was on the road, and felt that it would help others, even though I’m so far “not seasoned” like Bob and his crew, I would “give back” and “contribute to the community”, but my circumstances in this moment would not help anyone rolling around in that desert. I barely do the internet thing, thanks in part to scammers and such, and sometimes those websites don’t update as frequently and sometimes our signals are weak or non-existent….we all roll differently when it comes to technology, it just is what it is. Immah ask Bob whatever of Bob, in experience and spirit, that I want, and that will help me and anyone else as green as I am, to be and feel safer out there. Have a great weekend.

I’ve been driving through Quartzsite for 30 years and never stopped. I’ve camped in the desert in CA since I was a child and during the cooler months it is just beautiful. Wind storms are the worst and the blowing sand can damage your paint job and windshield and blow over your potty/shower tent and make it impossible to use 🤣😂 all that said, the desert is an awesome place to camp!❤ looking forward to my first camping trip at Quartzsite in January

Bob, you left out one of the best reasons to come to Quartzsite. That is the chance to meet you in person. Which is what happened although a brief meeting at a local outdoor Mexican restaurant. That sold one of your favorite cookies. Cheers, Mate.

Meat, veggies have gone way up as well as other supplies. Animal food is thin. No overnight at Parker Walmart due to a death in the lot of a overnighter. Coyotes do eat pets, already had at least one so far. Dust/dirt is really bad. Bang bang in the distance again this morning. Police did a sting over the summer for two week camping enforcement.

Quartzsite is a great place to camp, easy to learn your way around. Stay away from all the people as much as you can and it is a quiet, peacefull place. I stay at the LTVA`s, 20 dollars a month, is a rockin deal.

This is a great Quartzsite 101 summary for newbies. If you work online doing live classes and such, be aware that during The Big Tent you may have issues with a slow signal as crowds of people are all using it. If your online work is not live you can usually adjust your schedule to upload and work when others are sleeping. That is my experience with a Verizon hotspots. Sold my vehicle when my son had an emergency 6 months ago and am stuck in a tiny rental in Ensenada while I start over. You made me homesick for Quartzsite, but in a good way. Thank you Bob.

I can't count how many people asked me how on earth I had working internet during the time you mentioned. I had something that no one else seemed to know anything about..a 2.4GHz 802.11 24dBi parabolic grid antenna and a small USB Alpha adapter that latched onto all the free WiFi hostspots in town, and I was usually 5 to 7 miles away. I would allow them to use it and still had blazing fast speeds. These antennas are in such high demand worldwide they can be very difficult to buy at times. I was so pleased with mine, I installed one on my house in the middle of the city, pointed it at the Wendy's fast food place four miles away and canceled my regular Spectrum wired internet service.

If one can show me a sunny place that I can live very cheap that is very close to a city with water and food (easily by bicycle) I'll go. Until then, I winter in Quartzsite Arizona 👍

It gets cold in the winter. During the day, it might be warm. As soon as the sun goes down, the temperature drops like a rock! 70 to 55 in a half hour! Don't let the day temp. Fool ya!

Blythe is 20 minutes away and has a great ACE Hardware Store and several good auto parts stores…

In Quartzite as I type this at one of the LTVAs (which, btw, don't have rangers atm due to some kind of contract dispute so you don't have to buy a permit but that could change any day). The one I am at (La Posa south) has trash, potable water, both RV and Blue boy dump stations and plenty of vault toilets. The cell service is good enough even without a signal booster and so far it isn't really crowded (though I suppose that would depend on your point of view). Quartzite is about a 5 mile drive and once you get into town Roadrunner grocery is literally right around the corner in main street (stock up on propane before coming here if you use the green bottles because their 1lb propane bottles are ridiculously priced...you can literally get two at Walmart for less than one here).

I have been to Quartzsite for three years now in January for the RTR. Always had to get back home for work. This year I am retiring in November I don’t have to go home anymore really looking forward to it. Thank you Bob Wells for all your teaching.

I'm up in Colorado in high country for the summer, but I can't wait to get to Quartzsite for the upcoming winter. This will be my first RTR and I'll be coming in my jam-packed SUV where I can try to figure out better storage solutions (for all my Dharma books), plus I'm hoping to figure out a solar array, small deep cycle boat battery and how to rig it up so my refrigerator can run at least overnight). See you folks in Arizona come November 2023!

Wonderful video Bob. My favorite area is around Chiriaco Summit / Cottonwood area off the 10 fwy just west of Indio/Coachella Valley. Peaceful and a short drive down the hill to great shopping/ RV needs, Home Depot/Harbor Great tool, ect

Great informational video. I'm not crazy about crowds but the RTR sounds fun,one of those things I feel like I have to do once in my life.

We went to Quartzsite for the first time this year--last week of January we boondocked off Dome Rock Road for 5 days and then we stayed at Quail Run RV Park for an additional 3 days. Crowds were thinning out by then, and we are early risers, so we had no problems with traffic. We did have a crazy windstorm one day, though! We generally arrive with a fully-stocked fridge and pantry, so I hadn't noticed grocery costs. Since we only stay a couple of weeks that wasn't an issue for us. I definitely recommend visiting the History Museum, the Yacht Club, and Gem World! I also enjoyed supporting the local restaurants and found them to be quite reasonable, especially for breakfast. We will go again, but our trips are short because I am still working and can't take that much time off. After I retire, we will probably stay for a month. I need to get better at boondocking before that happens!

My grandparents were rockhounds and snowbirds. Quartzsite was their destination for rock related hobby stuff. It has changed in some ways for the worst. Housing and rent are high.

if the SHTF in the cities you folks will be safe with the help of each other stock as much as you can carry keep fuel on board Im envious in a good way. thanks
