I think you can fix the wheel imbalances. On those larger 4 inch tires you have to lay them down on their sides and air them up slowly. There’s so much mass to them that they will bunch up in one area. Laying it flat lets it distribute the air evenly distribute and helps reduce the chances of it having a lot of rubber mass at the bottom.

1200 watt 72 volt Enduro Had the bike for almost 2 years now. Can you tell me how many months to go back to a video of you building batteries? I'm guessing I've got three or four cells that aren't good anymore. Need to test them find them replace them or build a new batt. I was too heavy on the throttle at first, I have mellowed out a bit. Are the settings too high in voltages so it can fry batteries. Also tonight I was driving home and it started cutting out, 72 strong volts and no throttle. Crazy, turned off back on and I was able to drive home. Got home give it more throttle and it cut out again. Off- on I had throttle, and I pushed it into the garage. I do realize, I'll study the sabaton, find the inputs and find which input is not there. I definitely appreciate any help you can give my friend. Was cutting out when I was not accelerating, I was thinking a loose wire somewhere cuz it was cutting out on bumps when I first noticed it., I could just barely sense it The only other possibility that you said is if I had many dead cells. I always stored it at 60% Charge but the spring it only charged to 83.3 volts, the lowest charge I've seen it was 83.6 I've got some work the sabaton controller, works but it doesn't go very far through the menu. Last fall I tried to reprogram it but I couldn't connect to it. Do you have any good videos out there on troubleshooting batteries, replace cells. Thanks 🙋

Loving your vids man!! I've ordered a voilamart 1500w 48v kit but I've ordered a triangle battery that's 52volt 20Ah.... From what I've gathered the rear hub kit should easily handle the 52v 20ah battery, my main concern is the controller, I know little about them other than to check the capacitors/mosfets can handle the voltage/ampage so im hoping the controller will be ok if I do a shunt mod and just add a small amount of solder.. I've watched your vids(and others) about the shunt modding and I'm aware that adding too much solder or bridging the shunts together can be overkill and may well fry the controller components... So far my build is all ordered and Im just waiting on delivery, bloody useless Yodel have screwed up my hub kit delivery just yesterday/today so now ive to wait till monday for it to arrive, but its no problem as the battery wont come till after anyway (even though i ordered it the day before ordering my kit, but its coming from germany so it will take a while). In a month or so I'll most likely get a better controller (when money allows) as the total package of the kit/battery/schwalbe tyres etc has come to just over £658 (which I think is pretty reasonable). I chose the Schwalbe 'marathon' tyres as I'm terrified of getting a blowout at 30mph+ (I'm hoping the bike will do 30/35mph) and the 2 tyres + rim lining tape came to £56 so I think it's worth paying the bit extra for peace of mind... I'm going to look into 'sabvoton' & 'fardrive' controllers as I can afford maybe £200 tops to get a better controller, or maybe I'll have to settle with the cheaper shunt mod idea. Thanks for the effort and time you put into your vids, your a real man's man who makes proper vids that appeal to us guys who dont have a $#!t tonne of money to spend in our pursuit of ebike happyness!!!

Heck yeah 💯 and thank you, you should be fine with that controller on 52v just keep in mind that the battery voltage will be different on the display if it only reads 48v and the controller low voltage cut off also so make sure you don't drain the battery all the way down if you have a 52v battery on a 48v system but if the battery have a good bms in it then you will be fine because if it's a good one the bms will prevent battery damage at low voltage

@@E-bikeguy Do you recommend putting that Statorade stuff in the motor too? I won't be going too far on my rides and I'm gunna check the hub when it arrives to see if the spokes are tight etc, and also check / file (if needed) the spokes on the inside of the rim, I've ordered some rim tape to put on it too, just to be on the safe side... Geez, I always forget something, just realized I'll be best to order a decent enough pump to keep the air up in the tyres too, thanks again 'cos the advice is really appreciated, which do you think is the best controller for say around £200 max 'cos I'd like to extract as much torque as possible due to all the damn hills over here in West Yorkshire, U.K... Oh, and I'll be careful not to drain the battery, I had an ebike years ago (250w 24v Cyclamatic Power plus, loved it!) and I always rode out on a full charge. Hello! I'm having problems with my controller I think. I just recently purchased a new motor which is a 48v 1500w. (My previous motor is the same however the wires have been torn up) When I turn it on. The display turns on but the throttle doesn't do anything and the wheel won't spin at all AND it's not able to recognize the Bluetooth USB adapter as well. So it CANT be the motor since it's pretty much brand new. I'm thinking the controller Bricker itself somehow? I do remember the red wire on the came loose in one of those 5 wire cables. But I'd shove it in and out. When I put it back in. It would work and the wheel would spin But now. The display turns on but nothing. Doesn't spin the wheel and throttling it does nothing. Coukd you perhaps help me?

I am researching the Flipsky 75100 to replace a 15a controller in my ebike because its so tiny and will fit without any modifications. But I’m learning its not exactly a direct swap for a standard ebike controller. Notably the ignition, high and low brake, it doesn’t seem to be waterproof, and not sure something so tiny can dissipate heat well. I have an ANT BMS which i can use in place of the ignition switch, and seems like there are enough ADC channels for conventional throttle and brake (maybe even variable regen like Sabvoton and some others have). I can add a phone holder with USB to use as the display, and I guess I can make a few profiles for speed 1-2-3 or at lease “illegal” and “oh no its the popo” to set amps and rpm limits back to legal as I roll up to a check point. Lol I do like that VESC Tool and how it can also detect the theoretical current limits of the motor. Not that anyone follows it but it would be nice to see what my 2500w motor is really rated at. I need to dig into my wiring to see what feeds the headlight and tail light, because the battery cables only go into the controller and then 100 wires comes out going everywhere. Lol

Yeah but Chriscrossinwires will turn into a crybaby once he hears all the ASI criticisms haha...you are right ASI is WAY overpriced for what you get. You can make the same power with a high power fardriver and save hundreds of dollars😅

My point exactly, my bike preforms really well with a fardriver controller, and probably will keep up with his bike.
