the list of similarities with turkish and traditional sicilian food is very long ,for example that beyran soup sicillians make it as beef tribe ,cheeks , toes ,some rice mixed with paprika very similar some pork adds flavour dont forget :) kokorech intestines roll sicillians make it cross shape i had it before, in turkey they make same cross shape as well not only round roll .also round shape pizza or pide i have been eating exactly the same round shape stuff with cracked egg in some sicillian eateries in woodbridge ontario chicago and brooklyn usa which all these areas does have heavy sicillian presence peace and respect

I want to ask how you compare Turkish food to your home countries cuisine of Italy?

5:00 I don't know how you ended up there but Lider Pide is one of the best pide restaurants on the Anatolian side and is far away from the city center. You should have had tea in a water glass. Ayran fills you up , you can not eat much :D BTW their tea is very good!

It’s called Beyran soup. It has lamb meat, rice, garlic, chili and other ingredients. It was really good 😊
