Why does mines take me the super long way for everything if example if I’m going from St. George, Ut to Phx mines will take me any other way avoiding the route 93 what’s the problem

Both RM and Garmin have their let downs. It depends on personal preference. I prefer RM and Truckers Path Gold subscription. Truckers Path Gold haven't tried Diamond, but the Gold beats both RM and Garmin. TPG gives you live Traffic Weather and POI in out loud voice, I've also seen it more accurately with everything like speed limits. Another thing is as soon as you are approaching destination it automatically goes into Satellite view showing you entrance etc. I don't use my internet but I use the company's by doing split view on the elog tablet with Truckers Path Gold. My Rand McNally is a backup, haven't used it connected to internet but I wonder if it's better than Truckers Path Gold. I returned my RM 1050 for a smaller one because it was overkill.

Don’t remember the model but it was a garmin. I don’t think if you go to buy one you will find them new so if you buying a gps now you should be ok

I hate that this gps doesn't have satellite view and doesn't have north gps view. It sucks for me

I cannot recommend the rand McNally truck or GPS. I bought one for over $650 it lasted a couple of years and now it’s just freezes being a trucker this is something I cannot deal with I called the company and they said there’s nothing they can do about it have a good day. This was an expensive lesson but I will definitely find another company to replace this paper weight

Or you can listen to how the Beach Boys pronounce it in 'Surfin USA'. Oh, wait. They pronounce it root. Point is that it can be pronounced either way and as long as you understand it...... Or pronounced as you said
